When fully upgraded it's fun to use. But it's really bad against high level stuff.

That is the plan, though I just got to the next part of the Bad Ju Ju quest chain where I need to pvp it up, so I'll probably just leave it on for that while also working on pvp bounties.
Honest question from a lvl 25 hunter trying to climb higher... Are there any auto rifles in the game that are clearly better than the Shingen-E? Not just slightly, but clearly superior. I´ve seen the legendaries in the store, yet none of them seem to have the "scan shoot" balance that has. The combination of high stability and fast firing speed seems superior to all legendary auto rifles I´ve seen so far. No idea about exotics though.
Feels odd to still rock (in PVP) a lvl 15 Shingen-E that stabilises more you fire it, but nothing else comes close.

In PvP, I think there's only weapons slightly better than it, but in PvE, you'll want to scrap it.

Thankfully glitches and/or bugs can be patched and I'm honestly not even surprised there are some, given all the variables that are taking place at that point. Assuming of course that they're not part of the intended design, I don't think they'll even affect my appreciation of what they pulled off. And yeah, I'm in total agreement about your approach to progression toward 30. Not stressing it.

Yep! Gotta prepare. I think I might go ahead and purchase that Warlock exotic too after I run the weekly heroic with my Titan. Would be amazing to have an exotic already waiting for my warlock whenever I decide to level that class up to 20.
Not really. The way we did it was the how we were trying it the first time. Desert relic > defend middle with one person taking care of minotaurs / one watching their back for goblins and hobgoblins. Two defend jungle, and two go in the portal then finish with defending the middle. We didn't really have a problem with it at all for whatever reason.
Got a legendary primary weapon for achieving Vanguard Rank 3 last night. Not sure if it's random, but it was a Scout Rifle. Wish it were a hand cannon, but I'll take it.
I dunno what it is about this game, but I'm still strongly compelled to keep grinding for loot. And I'm totally going to do it again with my alts since I have legendary stuff ready for 'em when they hit 20.

Much appreciated! I want to end up with either of the two exotic rifles as my exotic weapon, so I figured that doing strikes and crucible matches for an exotic weapon wouldn't be so bad. Plus I can dismantle for shards if/when I get something else

kinda crazy how bungie can see borderlands and diablo 3... Yet releases with horrible loot/loot system. I've yet to be wowed with any weapon.

Are you planning to do PvP or PvE with those weapons? For PvE it doesn't matter that much, but for PvP you'll want to use the Grim Citizen. The Zero impact on the Doctor Nope is what kills it really.
At first glance it seems like the Red Death is going to have the upper hand when looking at the current state of the Juju, but that Juju buff could be pretty significant. I'm probably not going to shard one or the other until that happens.
As mentioned above, Suros Regime. I am bitter I upgraded it and lost the rapid fire for PvP, so I need a second...but it's still good. It's even better in PvE. I was destroying mobs in the raid last night since it's a 300 Atk weapon now and I'm 29.
I really like my Vanquisher VIII in Crucible. I've heard a lot of people love the Shadow Price as well and it's a similar style gun.
They didn't change anything but the Queen's Wrath rewards, I hope that wasn't unclear.
Done the Nightfall? Doing all your daily heroic stories, preferably at 28? Have Vanguard/Crucible marks to spend on armor and dismantle for shards? Have an exotic armor piece/can you buy one from Xur?

You can dismantle legendary armor for 2-3 shards, just not the queen's wrath armor. Do daily public events and run strike missions for shards! Was how I farmed them in the end (making alt accounts to get the daily public event award will help).
Highly doubt it. Too soon tbh. Maybe in the second but based on the leaks I doubt it happens then too.
I personally expect a 3rd and final expansion and that's when the level cap will increase.

Y'all really like Red Death? I'm not a fan of the delay between bursts. Feels like TTK is much lower with pretty much any of my other primaries, particularly Let's Make a Deal.
I haven't upgraded it to where the kills give health/fast reload, but not the biggest fan of it (got it from a blue drop the other week).

I think the Silvered Hushwind D is better. It drops as a lvl 20 rare in crucible, but packs a mean punch in PVE, too, for a rare.
They definitely will increase the light level. Keep everyone at max light reduces the need to farm more gear.
I suppose you're right. Red Death is the exotic I planned to use from Day 1 but there's no harm in waiting to see what the Bad Juju buff does.

"Everyone" includes people outside of hardcore gaming forums like gaf as well though. Most gamers wont be capped 3 months after the game launches IMO.
If there's three, I only know of 2 for Warlocks. The veil and the one with the wings.

The extremely slow grind of getting vanguard and crucible marks is what's holding me back from dismantling the legendary items. I've been doing the daily and weekly stuff but keep getting rewarded with ascendant energy. Bought the hunter helm from Xur last week. I still have yet to find a legendary item for my boots. Trying to grind out vanguard marks to buy one.
