Proper filtration systems would eventually weed out the bad randoms.
No, they wouldn't. Blizzard can't do it, why do you think Bungie could?
And by your non-answer of my question I assume it was NeoGAF or DestinyLFG.

If enough people complain, you'd better believe they'd make changes. The survival of their IP and profitability overall trump creative decisions. It's a business and they have obligations.
That's why I said it should punish you for quitting too soon. Given an arbitrary timer, you can't quit before then. After that, you can.
Yeah, ok. I play with randoms every week and complete it.
Again, from where. NeoGAF randoms are not the same as a true random from a matchmaking situation. Same with DestinyLFG.
Yah no shit. this right here... what in the hell is the difference between spending and hour trying to find 5 complete strangers to play with on reddit and just getting a match making setup>?
zero sense.
Did the 4 people that invited you know each other?Random as in, I was randomly invited by someone to a group and accepted, than completed the raid on hard with no trouble with a bunch of people I don't know at all.
It's not fine. Bungie has no customer support / GM's to assist or deal with complaints. It's an added cost for them.I still see no positive of the Raids having no matchmaking. If people go in and are running all over the place not talking and not helping each other and not playing the objective and wipe... they aren't gonna blame the raid. They are gonna blame each other... and that's fine.

"What's the difference between hand selecting a card vs randomly choosing one from a deck?"

People on Reddit or NeoGAF are far more motivated and skilled, on average, than the normal person who has no idea these sites exist. It's not a fair comparison.

It's the same. You can try to rationalize how matchmaking is inherently inferior compared to other methods of grouping, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter, because randoms will come together and succeed or fail regardless. I'm not going to argue all night about matchmaking, the only reason to be against matchmaking is if you have a vendetta against "filthy casuals" daring to even attempt content not specifically aimed for them because they don't have time to form groups at a reasonable hour, or commit to long sessions of gameplay.
gunsmith has rare fusion rifles for those of you that may need it
The people who can do the raid are people who spent hours playing this game. THey farm marks, brought stuff from xur and played a bunch of pvp. They are the same as the people one reddit and neogaf. Just because they dont have the time to set up a time to play or have no friend dosent mean they should miss out on a huge part of the game.People on Reddit or NeoGAF are far more motivated and skilled, on average, than the normal person who has no idea these sites exist. BTW, I do think matchmaking for Raids will come....when we outgear them. I don't think it'll be for current content.

Doing the raid on hard for ps4. Who's in?!
And how did those 2 find the others? Yes I'm asking exactly how the group formed.2 of them knew each other. What's the point? Still random. How about 2 people group up and go into matchmaking together? Chance of success DOUBLED!
Not true. I have several real life friends who are 26 and 28 and a third who's 24 and rising. They have no clue about half the stuff people here, do. One tried to solo Vault without understanding how to open the place.
And wouldn't it have been nice if a random level 28 could have explained it to him and spread some knowledge.
I did after I found out (and I'm 29, thanks ;D ).
What's your point? Random matchmaking doesn't fix that, random matchmaking has people yelling at him for being an idiot.
I don't have an agenda against "filthy casuals" and to even suggest it is an amusing way to counter. Also, you just got a random invite? In the Tower?
Where did THEY meet? Did some guy round up 5 other randoms in the tower?
And how did those 2 find the others? Yes I'm asking exactly how the group formed.

If you have the exotic bounty, this is an ideal time to get it.
Playing with randoms in raid situations is soul crushing.

You're assuming that everyone would flock to the raid, do horribly and call foul for a nerf for what has been described... time and again ... as the hardest end game challenge in the entire world.
No they would not nerf it. And i might actually get a chance to experience the content in the game that i spent 60 bucks on.
I get it that you can get on gaf or reddit or lfg or whatever and hunt for a group but .. guess what.. some of the best strikes groups i've had so far in this game have been with two people that i couldn't talk to and didn't know. The no chat part of that would be broken in the raid BUT one of the guys i work with who is also playing destiny had an idea that i had to face palm about it was so simple and obvious.
Make it so a full 3 man strike team and match make to another 3 man strike team in queue to do the raid. Problem solved.
To say that "well bungie bent over from all the complainers about the cryptarch and engrams so of course they would ruin the raid too" is kind of ridickeydonkey. The RNG loot cryptarch ass pounding NEEDED fixing. The raid, obviously, does not.

I will cry tears of joy the day I finally get an Ice Breaker. My best friend got one the first time we did a nightfall, I was pretty jealous but I got nice exotic armor so I couldn't complain too much. Congrats on getting it twice though, might as well stick it in your Vault if you plan on making an alt.So this just happened after Vanguard Tiger
