Missed that discussion...top minority of what? I see plenty of 27-29's running around in patrol, or was it something else?
 
It's upsetting that I get an itch to play PvP, play a few games in a row then hate how lag, the poor map designs and OP AR's ruin the fun, it becomes a mess of luck based gameplay when your second shotgun blast does nothing to the enemy because the game thinks you never fired it due to dieing a split second after from their melee strike, I clearly heard my gun shoot and animate but nothing happened.
 
Someone on Twitter was saying you have to use different elements against different types of shields? a) how would you learn that anyway as there's no real manual or tutorial and b) how do you know what weapons to use against what shields?

To be fair, halos multiplayer was a fluke.

It was a last minute addition to halo ce and the powerful pistol was a last minute glitch.

Bungie never wanted a starting utility weapon. They wanted you to start with a shitty close range easy gun and hunt down the better weapon.

And in every halo since then they tried going back to that design with AR or SMG starts. But time and time again the community cried for more DMR and BR (precision headshot capable utility guns) start and bungie eventually put them in

Being at that level, while successfully completing the raid at least once, along with having the buff given by Nightfall.

Some folks and myself received a trophy for completing VoG on hard. Only 0.1% of PS4 players it seems got it.

I've been so wrapped up in my own things, I often thought folks were on the same page as myself or doing way better. But then I stopped and realized that my perception was wrong.

Yeah, these would be my PvP gripes. A few maps are really awful (bastion and exodus especially), the classic "both people melee, both people die" and lag have been pissing me off. But I have to laugh when people are just claiming its broken and fusion rifles are running shop, you don't know what broken is.
 
I just yoloed and bought Crusader 1 (Scout Rifle) from New Monarchy as my first legendary Scout Rifle.
Reddit said it was quite a good choice but has anyone here used it an give me a kind of review? :D

Using different kinds of guns and shooting them at different kinds of shields.

It's pretty easy. Purple = purple, blue = blue, and orange = orange. Solar guns do extra damage to solar shields for example.

You didn't really need a tutorial for that.
 
Do people know how to play control? My whole F'n team goes for one F'n flag. The fuq they doing! And when the other team captures two flags they just F'n round around not worrying about capturing a flag.

So just got my first exotic bounty for th depleted hand cannon but had no idea I had to get 500 void damage kills in crucible for it.
This is going to take a long time. Anyone have any tips?

Scout rifle could use a buff (and it's getting one) but it's still viable. Still winning matches with it

What did you guys get for completing hard mode Raid?
 
Could someone tell me the current grinding spots? I just need a bunch of Platsteel plating so easy greens/blues are what I need.
 
Just got rank 3 in new monarchy and bought the Vanquisher VIII! This thing kicks butt.

But it didn't stop there.

The postmaster had a reward for me...
... and it was the Red Hand!

The RNG gods were kind today, lol. Now I just need to level these guys up.
 
Guys, what's the best Solo way of getting ascendant shards? Or is the raid really the best way of going about this? Sitting with three pieces of armour that all need a crap ton of shards to finish upgrading at the minute.

I actually feel pretty bad that so many people won't experience what is essentially the best part of the game. The raid completion percentages are pretty shocking.

Interesting indeed. I wonder if a lot of the 27+ population is PvP and aren't bothering with the Nightfalls and Raid. I do want to get a hard Raid under my belt, but I think I'd have to find a very patient team to play with. I'm a good Oracle killer, but I can't promise that I would stay alive during the Templar part. Way too crazy for my old brain to process.

Not that surprising. No matchmaking means the vast majority of Destiny players will never touch the Raid or Nightfall much less complete them.

You know you're in for a treat in PvP when pressing X or Square to respawn takes several seconds to do so, someone is choking the room, but who?

The exotic weapons are often OP in PvP. This much is unquestionable. I'm fine with it though.

I think Hunters are just as useful, but maybe I just haven't seen a Hunter used well. Strikers seem pretty useless, and Defender's shields are handy for revives, but so are Bladedancer's invisibility abilities. I'd rank Bladedancers significantly above Defender's, personally.
