Was just doing the Devils' Lair for the Sepiks Prime bounty so I did the low standard level one.
The bit with the Devil Walker seemed to have much more enemies than normal. It wasn't a bit that could be skipped either. Killing Sepiks Prime was done within a minute and was no hassle. I wondered if they increase the enemy count in some areas for Strikes.

Anyone up for nightfall?
This must be how they do the 'kill 100 enemies without dying' bounty. I've died at 62 and instead of restarting the count at zero, the game just picks back up at 63. I'm not complaining though. I didn't really think I'd ever get past that part of the bounty.

I have knucklehead already. Couldn't justify buying another exotic helmet, an ugly one at that.

Knucklehead is quite good also but I've found especially when dealing with major type enemies that 3 Golden Gun shots isn't enough. Thinking of another application, with a 4th shot you should be able to clear each portal of enemies with 1 super during the last section of the raid.
Also it has Discipline instead of Strength which is a lot more useful. No reason not to have both helmets imo

I caved in. I love it already. The high discipline and extra golden gun shot are great for pve.

All valid points, but I didn't have issue taking out oracles in my first raid, even without golden gun. Also I plan to slow down on playing, so I'd rather save the coins I have for when something I really want goes on sale (last word, alpha lupi).
And again, not a fan of how it looks lol.

Yep it's my to go to weapon of choice for PvP and bosses, it's just as nasty as the Vex mythoclast.
I have both. Got symbiote in a drop but bought knucklehead after. It gives variety in loadouts. I can be effective as a gunslinger or bladedancer. Did the same for my titan. Can't seem to find a good helm for my warlock though. I want to be able to raid anytime with anyone. I should have 3 raidable characters in a week. PEACE.

Funny, yesterday I felt the same during the winter's run strike. Especially in the end during the archon priest battle.

They definitely count toward bounty progress, I know that much.
Was a few days ago so I don't really remember specifically which bounty it was but I completed one by killing someone after the match was over.

Also, does anyone know what combined arms even is? I played a match on first light and it just seemed like standard control. I know it said something about vehicles, but first light already has vehicles.

Wut... Mine got reset from 70 odd to 10 (cos I checked a wee bit after I died)
I got the Hex Caster legendary from a blue drop.
I like it better than the Suros Regime. The Hex Caster is more fun to use, and hearing it fire gives me a rush. The fire-rate insane, especially coming from the Suros/Shadow Price.

I feel so bad for PVPers when I get ahold of heavy ammo for my Thunderlord. 
I'll be 29 by next weekend.

Looking for a group for HM raid. My regular raid group won't be ready for a while longer and I'd like to get some expeirence so I can help lead our group through it when we're ready.
Completed normal raid three times, twice with my regs and once with randoms from lfg. Last two were pretty much flawless runs on my part. Very confident. Looking for a group of other very confident players if possible.

I'll probably be doing hard mode twice next week, so I can hopefully help if it doesn't take too long getting through the first time.
Finally got my first legendary engram that yielded a usable item, Shadow Price.
This was promptly followed by two more legendary engrams (within 20 minutes) that yielded 2 ass energy and Prudence II.
My luck changed (for an hour).
This game still has me hooked at 46 hours in.

Ok time for me to level some alts I think. I'm thirsty for shards and it seems like the best way to guarantee extras.
Anyone got any advice for levelling as quick as possible? Once I hit 20 there's a bunch of legendary armour awaiting me

Ok, if you have the time that would be great. Will you be around this evening or tomorrow for some Skirmish? I have the entire day off tomorrow (invite goes out to anyone interested in teaming up for pvp).
How are you finding pvp stability wise, btw? I had a really frustrating few matches last night. First two games the hit reg was delayed by about 2-3 seconds. I learnt to compensate by the third game and was top of the board and up by a good few kills when the game decided to boot me and wouldn't let me match-make again.
It feels like I'm being persecuted. ;_;
The maze is easy enough, no need to do this.
What happens if someone gets disconnected and wants to re-join?
The only way to fix this by restricting rejoining. I don't see Bungie patching this.

I didn't have too much trouble with lag yesterday, but we did have one control match start 2 against 5. That was fun. ¬_¬

This. You basically have to be active in some gaming forums unless you have 5 friends who are about your level.
Would also be great if there were a proper way to communitcate it to people ingame that you want to set up a group.
A few days ago a I just saw a bunch of guys dancing in the tower, I joined the dance and recieved an invitation and they started the raid. Was my first time and I just stumbled into it.
It was actually the first run for everybody in the fireteam and considering that we did pretty good.
We made it past the jump section and then three people had to go.
I got a few shards a legendary sniper and an exotic fusion rifle.
Was quite happy with that.
There should be an area in the tower where people can go when they want to find a group.

Ha I agree. I have a fully upgraded Truth that has aggressive target tracking so if I see someone they are dying. It is pretty much 4 guaranteed kills. Sometimes more if 2 people are near each other.
Speaking of MM.
My friends and I have been pulling randoms from the Tower to do raids. It's worked out for the most part.
We message them, ask if they have a mic. If they do, we send them a chat party invite. It's simple as that. I still think MM can work to some extent.
As for the actual raid. It takes a while to get into a flow. But after people realize what their roles are, it's like we've been playing together for months.

The problem is that, there is no means on contact with people other than via chat, so if members of the raid don't have a headset, you're pretty much screwed. There is too much to co-ordinate that without chat you don't stand much of a chance, and I would hate to be in the group where 50% of the Fireteam were not on the chat channel.
I am far from a shotgun expert (or PvP in general for that matter), but two things I would note:
1. Sometimes you have to camp. When there are a bunch of enemies in a room and they see your red mark on their radar they will enter the room to meet their death if you stand a few feet from the door.
2. The sprint slide has saved me in many occasions where the enemy was a little too far away. Sprint, slide, pop up and shoot them.
When I first started using the shotgun it took me 10 matches to go from 0 to 100 points as I kept going negative after every ok round. Then in about 7 or 8 matches I went from 100 to 500 points once I got the hang of it.

Amen to the raid matchmaking, same for Nightfall strikes. Just let people try them Bungie, at least that!
