I was the same way, ended up buying the Venom of Ikaheka one. It'll probably stock this week though, if you're patient enough to wait a few more hours.

What do I do now? Am i too low level for VoG/Nightfall Strikes?? What do I do from 26-28?? Thanks in advance.

The only Exotic Shotgun that goes in the Primary slot that I know of is The Universal Remote.

you need more legendary gear, more light to get to do the harder activities
 
So I finally got prompted for an exotic weapon bounty, and like an idiot, I just picked one at random without looking online to see what you actually get, and I picked one for a weapon I don't want (the shotgun). I also didn't realize how rare it is to be prompted for it. Should I just keep it around or get rid of it? Can you get other exotic bounties while you currently have one?

acquire all purple armor (or an exotic) and upgrade armor as far as possible--upgrades will increase your light level

eventually you'll end up farming for shards and a resource in order to do this though

I think the cap should be 150 per week so you can at least buy a weapon. Gives you something to play for. Hitting 100 marks for the week and being 10 marks short of buying something is frustrating. Happens to me pretty much every week

Have you upgraded all your armour? VoG is possible at 26, but you'll have to be pretty good and have a good team.

If the amount of quits in the vanguard strike playlist is anything to go by matchmaking the raid is absolutely the dumbest thing Bungie could do to this game.
 
Hit 28 tonight via fully upgrading my raid boots.

Just need to wait till tomorrow for the resets now I guess. Don't think my mind can take anymore Tiger Strikes. Still no Exotic weapons either! :(

I'm having trouble now getting enough mats from breaking down armor for upgrades and I mainly pve. How do you all who only pvp get enough drops to get the upgrade materials for upgrades? From my time pvping I get a blue maybe every two games if I'm lucky.

Just buy greens from vendors?

It's probably the easiest exotic bounty and a very good shotgun. I'd say it's worth doing even for the ass energy.

And you can get others. I have 2 on the go right now.

You can have multiple exotic bounties at once. I've had 3 at one time before. Just remember the more you have the less normal bounties you can have at once. I wish they would move exotic bounties to the mission section to not clog up normal daily ones.
 
How do I stop notifications from a ios ps app group message? Somebody invited like 30 people to help them raid today, and I keep getting a notification every time someone leaves the group message but I can't see how to leave the group message myself.

Yes, it's random like everything else in this game so you may get another exotic bounty before you turn in the previous one.
I like my invective shotgun and i don't remember the bounty being hard.

Just do the bounty. It's the easiest one and you can clear it in around an hour if you focus on it. If you really don't want the weapon, then just melt it down for the ascendant materials. Just be warned, however, that you will need 50 special ammo synthesis at one point so you'll need about 10k in glimmer if you don't already have them.

I have 1 exotic armor and 1 legendary. Helm and boots are still "rare" i.e. crappy. (I do have a legendary shotty and a legendary bazooka. I know these don't effect my light level) I was hoping to get better gear from nightfall, so I can stop doing the Tiger playlist.

Should i try to join a nightfall strike or is it still too early??

PS. Yes, I've been upgrading my armor as much as possible.

Hold down the message and select Delete. This will remove you from the conversation/group message.

Thanks for all the replies! I guess I'll keep it around. I just seriously have an issue with not dying. I've even tried doing the Cosmodrome strike on level 8, and I still end up dying to something stupid and the first part is completing 5 strikes without dying.

I get the need to balance that, but there are ways around it:

Already implemented:
  • Needing materials from the earlier planets guarantees you need to go back.
  • The higher frequency of public events on Earth and the moon keeps people going back.
  • There are already difficulty options for all the missions, but currently there's no reason to do them because of the current system. This would give you a reason to do them.
 
lvl 27 Hunter here. Thinking of starting another Hunter as an alt to get the ascendant materials my main character needs to rank up my armour/weapons.

If I do, does anyone know at what level the game starts offering shards/energy for missions and drops?
 
Just did hard atheon on my 2nd titan, we had a level 28. I got the helmet, woohoo. I just need the gauntlets now for 30. 2 people got mythoclast. >:(
 
Last night, I loaded into crucible and literally couldn't do any damage to anyone. Their shields/health bars were completely unaffected by anything I did. I've seen delays due to lag before, but this happened with everyone on the other team. I quit out, popped back in, and everything was fine again.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I think the venom is available now, I just love the color palette of the Cloud Walker.

Yeah. I am now constantly in 2 player strikes, though by level 28 that is pretty manageable. I hope they add a lvl 28 playlist soon with some better drops. Even by lvl 24 I really don't see why enemies would drop anything green or blue armor.

By level 28 people should be swimming in legendary drops. Maybe just make them give fewer materials.... By level 28 the only thing to do seems to be getting ascension materials and raid gear, so that makes most strikes pointless outside of marks. I would focus on crucible, but it bis annoying getting nothing round after round.

The climb to 29 is going to be brutal. For a challenge I solo'd the nightfall and it was actually easier than the solo weekly strike due to my arc plan c and zombie apocolypse...

24/26 for dailies give 1 shard. 28 gives 2.

Public Events give ass mats and there are plenty in the Cosmodrome.

Raid is 26 minimum and you just need to clear Templar to get to all 5 chests.

Rechecked the coordinates, and put them into www.maps.google.com, and plotted them in. Most were in the middle of nowhere (including two between Canada and Greenland), but some of the sites were interesting. I am willing to bet that (since atleast 2 of them are related to space/launches, the rest of them are aswell. However, something interesting happened. In u/Latinoto 's post. He noted that 45. 9650 N, and 63. 3050 E were circled, and noted with "DEVILS". After i put those in, i landed smack dab in the middle of KAZAKHSTAN, you know.. Where "Old Russia" ingame is. And what noble house is located there? House of Devils. We might be on to something here...

The given sets were:

28. 5907 North (Crossed off, and marked Vex)
80. 6417 West (Crossed off, and marked Vex)
78. 4897 North (Crossed off, and marked Vex)

They seem pretty straight forward, and are all somewhere around the EQ, meaning that they most likely are launchsites of some kind.

Does not seem to indicate any hidden meaning or codes. Yet..

They were also in the Alpha and Beta. Definitely freaked me out the first time I ran into them considering the level cap was 8 lol The Grottos is a cool place that I wish had a bit more to it other than being a shortcut. It's a nice change of scenery in Old Russia. I'm surprised with some of the Hive devices/architecture down there that there isn't a Patrol mission that requires you to go there for a Scan or Assassination mission; though I guess the high level enemies make that impractical.

I was in a Tiger Strike yesterday with randoms and one of the guys was definitely AFK so the other person and I got on our Sparrows and used them to push him a ways until he was in harm's way and we could feed him to the Cabal.

Yeah I know venom is there now, I meant Wolf will probably stock this week haha

Honestly as dumb as it might seem, I'd rather spend my motes on cloaks than an exotic engram unless its for a weapon
 
This is the 3rd time I kill hard atheon and see 2 other people get vex mythoclast. At least I got the helmet this time.

Ok, I've been thinking about this.

Crucible removes all level effects, right? So I don't need to worry about light or defense upgrades for my gear, I just need to focus on perks, and stats.

I think I'm going to work on swapping some of my crappier legendary pieces in crucible for rare pieces with stats and perks that will give me a boost in pvp. If it drops me down to level 20 in the crucible, zero flips given.
 
Has anyone seen a legendary armor piece with this very specific perk? Looking to see if such an animal exists for Titan.

Mind you, not looking for 'special weapon' ammo, but specifically fusion rifle ammo perk slot.

Would be great if it existed - arm or leg piece.

No please don't nerf the suros in PVE. They should only nerf PVP if it's necessary. They should keep PVE and PVP seperate. Maybe not even allow some weapons in PVP but don't nerf shit in PVE.

You're better off buying some Vanguard armour then. I assume you have enough marks for some boots at least.
