I hope it doesn't take too long for the blu-ray to come out and even longer to get a sub.
I thought that arc (Skypeia) was a filler when i watched the anime, to my surprise it was canon.

It's funny how you say Naruto is the same, when every main crew member in One Piece acts the same too. They go through these arcs that should instill some character development, and yet by the next arc they're still acting the same as they always have.is largely the same. As in how he reacts is largely the same, his obsession with Sasuke is largely the same. He changes a bit, but it's nothing so significant that you can say he went extremely notable character development, as in how he reacts now is very different to how he'd react before. He's more assured of his strength is his biggest difference.

I knew it was going to end soon, but the events of a few chapters back made me think it would last longer than 4 more chapters. The ending definitely seems like it will be rushed, even considering the movie. To spend so many years on a series and rush the ending is weird.
Naruto was the anime I started with. I will always have fond memories of it, even if I never watched all of the original series. The only good thing from this news is the fact that there should be no more fillers in the anime.

So, I had to double check this because I couldn't believe it at first, but Naruto anime started when I was a senior in high school...12 years ago. I'm almost fucking 30. I haven't seen anything past the first shippuden episodes, is it going to be worth a rematch to finally see how it ends or should I just ignore it?

End of an era for the good or for the bad. Damn, How Kishimoto managed to draw the same characters for 15 years??? Quite an inspiration. Toriyama spend 10 years with Dragon Ball and he literally got sick of anything Dragon Ball related after he finished the manga wich was also in a very abrupt way btw... Maybe Kishimoto is tired as hell of Naruto as well.

I'm glad I got back into Naruto 5 months ago.
It really was a big part of my childhood... I love the show to death. Sad to see it end, but at least the show will end on a good note, and I'll get to experience it.
