I have a serious question for all of you!
Are you living in the database, database?

I live in a world where I can watch a merman leisurely soaking in a bath tub and not Darling waking up to find a lamia hugging him in his bed.
I want off this planet.

Yeah, it wasn't something I expected at all either. It gave Sawaki a bit of time to grow on his own, I guess. I really need to rewatch it at some point; I'd love if some company actually brought the BD-box over, but who knows how likely that is.
For every scene in the anime that reminds me of a scene I'll post a gif. Please stop ruining my favorite movie with bad .gifs thanks!
The puppets still hold up to this day, definitely watch it again. It's great.I watched it when I was young. Too young.
All the more reason to watch the live action adaptation!
From the New World Ep. 12
Interesting episode.Does a good job of giving more insight into the ideology of the society's government. I'm not all that familiar with Japanese society but I assume there are some parallels to serve as commentary. There's definitely something to take away from this in terms of gender roles. The flashback sequence of the fiend made me think about Blood-C. With students being violently massacred it's hard not to.The example of a Fiend was a boy while the Karma Demon was a girl. The head of the Ethics Committee mentioned that Fiends are more likely to be boys. Implicitly, Karma Demons are more more likely to be girls. I could be drawing the wrong conclusion, though. In the context of the real world, boys and men are far, far more likely to be the ones that go on violent rampages much like a Fiend in the show. I'm not sure how Karma Demons translate to the real world, especially with the implications of dangerous girls/women poisoning their environments and unintentionally killing people. Though I'm not sure what to take away from Shun having been a Karma Demon.
It's also interesting that women head both of the two (and only?) most powerful governmental organizations shown.
Parasyte 1
That's an.. interesting choice for an OP. Autotuned metalcore?
Stil, glad to see that it was adapted well.
Code Geass 03
It's not an anime without high school, student councils and shower scenes.
Lelouch is so smooth.

Derogatory names for metalcore and DubstepWhat is mallcore and brostep? Who names these things?

Why is there an OT for everything now?

Trinity Seven 1
I like this. It sort of reminded me of High School DxD without the lewd.
Hi school Sega Girls ! - 01

Hopefully this won't be a problem if I post since I'm offering full disclosure, but I'm a part of the team working on the North American re-release of Lupin the Third: Castle of Cagliostro, and we're just trying to get people's opinions on the art for the DVD/BD discs themselves. Just vote for whichever one you like best.

Thanks in advance, Anime-GAF!
Wait, wait...this is a thing? Color me curious!
Option 1!
Why is there an OT for everything now?
What's the other big twist? Hans' heel turn?
It's funny, the Mulvey stuff took so long to get through that I didn't even touch on representation at all. But representation in a broader sense is much easier to figure out on your own at least. lol

Le me guess, the same guys that made the Sengku Basara: Judge End OP? something something las vegas.
I saw that.
you seen't it
I've never played the games (always heard mixed reviews on those). All I've seen is the anime, but I loved what I saw of it. It had a good sense of humor and got me surprisingly emotional at one point. Though I'm biased towards transforming girls in general.]Also, is Neptunia really any good in any of its incarnations? I've always wondered...
Sora no Method
Not sure on what to think so far. OST is great.
