You need to have a specific, G-sync-enabled monitor, yes.. however it works only (as of now anyway) with certain nvidia gpus.you will learn that all my tech related questions, no matter how idiotic they sound, are all serious. Im a huge noob when it comes to stuff like this, I pretty much just press "max settings" button on games and run them

I apreciate you explaining it tho. So its a monitor thing, not a GPU thing, so I dont have to worry about it since my monitors are just normal 24inch 1080p screens, nothing fancy

And i'm very much like you btw, i've only picked up a few things here and there reading GAF and watching a couple of tech reviews and videos on youtube, but i'm no expert or anything.
