Remember Rakuten who bought play and turned it into a marketplace. There is now rakuten.co.uk (which is separate form play.com :S ) So there is the code LAUNCHFIVE which gives £5 off orders of £7 or more (apparently LAUNCHGIFT5 and LAUNCHOFFER5 work too). The selection is poor though (I can only find one SD card for example) though people seem to be having luck with DVD/Blu-Ray. If you manage to spend £25 though you get £5 as Rakuten fun money.

Edit: Thats a good one. Their twitter account is an egg: https://twitter.com/Rakuten_UK

That to me looks like a Wii Remote bundle where someone has taken the remote out (notice the USK on the packaging). The question is does the actual solos SKU come with the stand and I can't find an answer.

Even if the answer were yes, I guess the real question is are the game collection really selling the solos version and not the game stripped from the remote bundle. I'm kind of in the same boat of wanting the stupid stand more than the game.

Oh right, I meant that GamePad stand. Didn't know there even was a separate Wii Party U stand, so I assumed it must've been that GamePad stand.

it's on the box art :D

Thanks for the heads up. Think they take payment on dispatch, so might as well go for it now in case nothing better turns up by then.

I know this is not the place to post it but since a lot of people on this topic are from UK my question is more directed to them. If I make a topic, I would get a lot of replies from Americans.

Is it safe to charge the Japanese PS Vita (PCH-2000) using the charger? I noticed the battery icon blink rapidly. Tiny waves moving erratically. It looks strange to me. Our electrical system is different from Japan and I do not want any problems.

Or would it be better to charge through a computer? I don't want to damage the battery or make it worse.

Thanks for that I am waiting to see who will sell the batmobile edition but this will do for now.

I think they make mistakes in pricing sometimes. I get the Zelda series strategy guide with were £117, I got them for £60.

Nowadays chargers are fit to transform 100-240VAC to whatever DC. The time when a Japanese charger could only cope with 100VAC and would blow up if you connect it to 220 VAC is long gone. So there will no longer be an "electrical system difference problem" anymore.

The only thing that could go wrong is that the charger outputs the wrong amount of DC (typically that is 5 Volts DC and a current of 12mA) to your electrical appliance and break it.

On the back of your Vita it says on a sticker what those amounts are. Just check if they match with what's on your charger and you should be fine.

That's just what the charging icon looks like on Vita, you're good.

Thank you. That is good to know.

Anyone know if there's a cheaper price for borderlands the pre-sequel on PC than GMG for 24?

I love borderlands but this new one with the oxygen stuff just seems like it ruined it but I'm still willing to give it a go for the right price.

Does anyone know where I can get Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for a cheaper price? I am waiting for it to be reduced but it disappeared from GAME, Amazon and Gamestop.

Unfortunately that's a good sign that it's out of print and that the price will go higher. I'm going to buy a digital version at the end of December if I can't find it for a good price so that I can at least take advantage of the Premium promotion.

or the several used options on the amazon marketplace that are quite cheap?

I've bought form all of these in the past (except play.com). Safe to buy from.

One Piece Unlimited World Red (Wii U) is £25.06 at Amazon UK.

Rare under-£30 price for the Wii U version. It's "temporarily out of stock" though, but you could give it a try if you want the game.

Not many retailers carry it anymore, so this could be a case where it either gets a reprint in the coming weeks/months, or goes OOP alltogether.

Beware wowhd, cdwow, wowdvd etc. You're likely to get hit with customs fees.

Shopto or Base would get my money! I'm still not 100% sure about Shop4World.

I've been wondering it it's worth buying an Xbox One from eBay with a. Game or two I don't want that's new (like FIFA), and then trading that in at GAME or somewhere similar to get the price off The Master Chief Collectiok. I gurss all I would need to make sure of ia that there is a warranty with the console.

That said Amazon are offering a bundle for £350, so if I have to I'll just pay that price. Plus I'll need to get the play and charge got also.

I bought two games from them last month with now problems. Shop4World = Shop4De = 365games.co.uk - all the same thing like Zavvi/TheHut.
That's good to know.

They had some suspiciously cheap prices on Xbox One games last month which I shall now kick myself for not jumping on!

Castlevania Lord Of Shadows 2: Dracula's Tomb Premium Edition (PS3/XBOX360) for £22.98 at Zavvi.

Edit: on backorder. Sorry, hadn't noticed that at first. Thx Alessandro.

Why would you get an XL now? The thing is out in November in Australia. There's no other Western date yet but that tells you it'll hit Q1.

Because I didn't know when the new one was releasing. That's why I, surprisingly, asked.

Any ideas on how the WiiU will go in terms of price this Winter guys? I want to buy one for my girlfriend but haven't a clue when I ought to get it. I've seen a few half decent deals in the last few weeks but don't have the money just yet, but I worry if I leave it too long prices will go up near Christmas.

Soo tempted by this Hitchcock Blu-ray collection but Zavvi is out of stock. Is it sold somewhere else for the same price?
Price in Sweden is well above £100.

Wow 63EUR, now that's a good price

the content is insane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQkRzOYMbWk

Keep in mind that amazon.de sells the German edition, which means the booklets are German instead of English. And it has the flipping USK logo on it, yuk.

Also, when is the new 3ds due? Should I wait, or just get a xl?

Don't know if any other EU-based shops are going to stock it but I know 365games (sister site to ozgameshop) are going to try and get some Australian ones in November.

If anyone else knows any other EU-based places that will be selling the Oz New 3DS I'm interested to know about them. Customs is a hassle (especially on an item as expensive as a 3DS) so I'd rather not import directly.

The F(!)SK logo is printed on the paper sheet that includes the film information and not on the box itself. Reprints of letters, movie posters, storyboards and stuff are in English, although the letters have a German translation on their backside. The film information on the backside of the movie poster postcards are in German, so is the booklet.
