And that's why we need an informative OP that's constantly updated.
Still no PS+ games or wall of shame. smh. While we're at it.ae need to add the PSN Google doc Flightmare made
New releases and sales are posted on the blog, and people discuss which games to buy here. The bigger sales get their own threads.
I think this thread does a good enough job of making people aware of PSN news. It just moves a bit too fast.

Check your vita download list...notice any games you CAN download now that you couldn't before?
Just throwing out my thoughts. I, like Shizuka, prefer an OP that keeps things tidy and updated (in combination with making new posts when changes occur) if only for the sake of completeness and increased awareness but if people think that'd be unnecessary, that's fine.
I certainly agree that the thread moves pretty fast sometimes.

Can you guys help me out? I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask but I figured I'd try in case someone knows the solution. I just went to buy a game on PSN on my PS3, and after clicking "Confirm purchase", I got a loading bar, and then a PSN store pop-up: "An error has occured." Before trying again, I checked my bank account, and my card was charged for the game, but it doesn't appear in my download list, or transaction history in my PSN account. Any tips?
EDIT: I guess PSN is supposed to be down for maintenence right now? I assume that's what messed it up, but how was I even able to get on the store and buy something in the first place?

With regards to PSVita games coming out I keep a comprehensive list and can give whoever is posting the new topic a PM update each month and/or each time I update my list (weekly).
This might sound a stupid question but i guess vita tv or the now called playstation tv (sony west really likes to hide the vita) doesn't make possible that vita games can be played by two players on the same screen.
Games like sega all star racing transformed.
Guess that's why they offer worms since you can pass the controller and play by turns.
Also, is boderlands for vita worth it? Never played boderlands and i would like a shooter for my vita and already have killzone. Also the mechromancer is cute xD

I'll put in another vote for the Badman game -- no heroes allowed. There is a 9.99 unlock that makes it a 'full' game, which is how I did it.
Are you joking? I mean, that's extremely unlikely. I'd argue hovering around 0% for the next decade, if not longer. Even if they sold off Playstation (never going to happen, certainly not with the ps4 doing so well) the new owner would keep it up. I can't even think of a scenario where it would go down this gen... even if they were suddenly facing bankruptcy they'd start selling off divisions. Regardless, it's definitely so unlikely it's not worth worrying about.
I don't see how it's particularly 'scummy'. They made a mistake. They certainly didn't make a mistake like that trying to drum up sales for an old ps1 game maliciously. They discovered their mistake, and fixed it. They went back to fix the old post so nobody googled to see if they could buy it for their pstv once they own it and find incorrect confirmation they can run it.
Should they have gone over their list for mistakes better? Sure. But human error is human error, and mistakes in a list that long aren't exactly unlikely.
The glitch allowed us to circumvent the licensing issues that prevent us from playing certain games on vita. It didn't suddenly make it legal for them to let us download them. The glitch was nice for those paying attention... maybe some rogue engineer turned on the faucet for a couple days to let us get Spyro/Crash/etc. knowing it would get turned off as soon as someone in legal noticed.

Chargebacks are a huge expense for businesses. Sony isn't alone in not wanting to do business with people that do them. If you charge back a business, they're out the goods, they need to refund the money you gave them, and the bank fines them on top of that. They should only be used as a last resort with a business you never plan on dealing with ever again (like, say, a company that never ships you something and then hangs up on you when you try to find out what's going on).

BL2 Vita has some noticeable performance issues (that improves a teeny weeny bit by playing offline and some other tweaks/change of playing behaviours), but we at the OT enjoyed it anyway.
It's hard to recommend it if you get easily annoyed by fps drops, though. If not, and if you find it for a nice price, go for it.

Ended up ordering the Physical limited edition for SK, because why not. I will only be able to play it after my midterms, but until then I can do something between study breaks... you know... like uh, look at the *cough* *cough* pretty pictures on the artbook. It is all for science's sake. And life of course.

Performance has been improved with the patches (the last one I just tried and is a little, very little, better), but there's still moments of annoying drops. Not many, but there are. I'm currently level 30, I love borderlands and this is just as good as always.
My biggest problems are the crashes. When in weapons menu it crashes very often (for me). In any case, still a great game for the Vita.

Been playing multiple vita games lately. Project Diva, Ratchet & Clank, and One Piece all on rotation. Struggling to settle on something.
Also, on the topic of thread improvements, is this not the sort of thread that could be placed in the community section? I've never really understood the purpose of that section outside of being an OT graveyard.

It is a very simple dungeon crawler. Pick it up during sales but not over 7$. This along with Assassin's Creed Liberation are the only ones that I've sold that I didn't regret doing it.

I can second this. Already own it on PS3 but I ordered a copy for my Vita that should arrive tomorrow along with my 64gb memory card. Great game.

This made me instantly check my download list to see if I could snag the Valkyria Chronicles 2 DLC...
That and R-TYPES are the only things I have on PSP that I can not "get" on Vita. I downloaded Brave Story and R-Type Delta during the open floodgates a few months ago, didn't have enough space for R-TypeS and figured (I guess it's just Open for now) and the thought of the Valkyria Chronicles 2 DLC didn't even occur to me.
Speaking of PSP items that are not on Vita:
I wish Sony could resolve the issues with Popolocrois, Charming game, and unavailable because AgeTec.
Venting my personal opinions on Square Enix's Horrible digital PSP Support:
Kingdom Hearts: BBS - I blame on Disney, it's why 1.5 and soon 2.5 will not get Digital releases (oh I bought a physical copy of this one last week, so you can resolve this now and force me to buy it again...)
FFVII: CC - Used a song that they lost the rights to (at least in Japan) and fighting with the pop-star has prevented them from digital release.
Star Ocean 1 & 2: Combination Japanese Licensed music (even for the US and EU releases) and probably non-transferable medium voice acting work on the localization.
Valkyrie Profile - No clue. I believe that the game used the same voice acting as the PS1 entry, (so they obviously had a transferable license). I blame Laziness and not wanting money.

That's still pretty cool
If there's something that I have learned with the years is to not listen to others opinions when it comes to games. Sure take their input, but ultimately you know yourself better than anyone else. If I see myself liking something I won't stop myself from buying/playing it because someone told me to. The perfect example for me is Destiny, regardless of what people say, and me recognizing it's faults, the game is like crack for me aha.

I love it.
At this point, this is my favourite driving game that I've ever played - and that's saying something coming from a hardcore Gran Turismo fan up 'til GT5.
My only gripes are the missing features that're getting patched in, no split-screen MP and that the servers SUCK right now.
