What (free) FTP client do Mac users like?

I need to write a document recommending FTP clients to our users, but I have no idea what the best alternative is on Mac. It needs to be free and relatively easy to use.

I can google up the most popular alternative, but you know... Popular isn't always best. I'd rather get some recommendations from actual people. :D

Any ideas?

Jesus people.

Spotlight -> Terminal -> ftp -> enter

If you're wanting to be real fancy, use iTerm like I do, it's a bit more robust than Apple's own Terminal.

No fuss, no muss.

I like mine to be ĂĽber fancy. I use Transmit, but that's not free...unle...ahem.

Mac has a command line? :O

Yeah Cyberduck has a clean simple UI so it should be easy to use by newbies.

Someone here knows the drill.

Cyberduck AND Fetch both here at work, but I still default to Terminal (sometimes). :lol

I mainly use ftp (and sftp) from the terminal but one thing I wanted to know is how do you put up a directory in either of the programs (it doesn't happen often but can be a pain since I don't know how :/)

To answer the question wrt fancy programs, I've used cyberduck, transmit, and fetch (and fugu on sftp end) and I like transmit the most of the bunch.

BTW, is there any particular reason for having (I'm interpreting that as owning) both Transmit and Fetch?
