I thought it was kinda fun the first time, but it just gets repetitive after that because you're doing the same things over and over. It's good for getting all the character report cards completed, at least.

It's a slightly tedious resource management game. The first run through is the worst since everyone is a low level, but it becomes super easy after that.

I think it's worth it just to see the extra character interactions.

I have finally filled up my Hori case for my Game Cards. Need to get another one but I am curious what Vita Gaf is using.

I use one of these which has 5 pockets which can fit 2 games each (though they're meant to only fit one tbh). I figure if I need more than 10 games with me I'm probably packing a suitcase and bring more in their cases or whatever.

I bet PS+ is more the factor there, wasn't it PS+ at some point for PS3? I bought it for $15 and it was well worth it though.

Yeah last March had both TWA and LSC on PS+ here in NA. I bought LS (and TWA) at launch as well and don't regret it as I really enjoyed both. Lone Survivor was in my top 10 from last year.

Also most new indie games don't target PS3 anyway.

Actually I've noticed the opposite. A lot of the indie games I've picked up have had PS3 versions as well. As this year closes out I'm sure we'll see it less and less, but if I only had a PS3 I certainly wouldn't be lacking for a lot of these great indies getting released. Hell, PS3 is still the only place I can play Luftrausers (on console) and Journey. The latter is on its way but dammit I wish LR had come to PS4 instead.

Just seemed weird because it's published by Curve. All of their games have been cross buy so far, and IIRC the PS4 version of Thomas Was Alone is cross buy with the PS3/Vita version. It was unexpected is all.

Yeah, that's fair I guess. In terms of consistency with Curve releases it does stand out as a bit odd.

Interested to hear from those of you that pick up the PS4 version if there is any added functionality in LS using the touchpad or DS4 speaker?

Man, between Pix, Nidhogg, Spelunky, Dust, Peggle 2, and (likely) Costume Quest 2, October has me swimming is variety. I'm loving it.

Any deals/discount this week? Planning on getting the Jak and Daxter Collection for Vita and Ratchet Into the Nexus on my way to work, but would prefer them digitally.

Do yourself a favor and dont buy jak n daxter unless you are ok with playing a game that runs at 20 fps and sometimes 15 fps.

Unless you're pulling the saves out to minimize footprint and store long-term, you shouldn't have a reason to be messing with the data files on your PC.

I mean the digital version and I'm leaning towards not getting it now and waiting since it being an XSEED game kinda guarantees we'll see a discount during the holidays. But I want my life and hometown now!
