yes? did they make more changes outside of 1080p/60? haven't really looked at much media other than the halo 2 stuffs
You could start preloading CoD almost 2 weeks ago so it is probably already gold.

lol all good. my understanding was that it as just 1080p/60 upgrade and it would look like the 360 version AE for the most part. its been awhile since i've played it so my memory is slightly hazy. will be happy if i'm wrong.

I at least hope they would be smart enough to re-work some graphics stuff seeing as the One is more powerful than the 360, I guess it just makes sense lol

on Topic, the high res and 60fps really add a lot. Can't wait for this to come out. still way too long till it hits
They've worked on the shaders in CEA, 3 and 4 so each game should have some better lighting overall.
From the Halo Channel, but it'll probably need the digital versions of MCC and 5, for it to launch directly into matchmaking like they is going to be available, to work.

Yeah, I agree! This would influence my decision to go digital, if true. The response above suggests they are going this direction.
Please Frankiebtry to get the game to launch just be saying "Xbox go to Halo" would be so much better than saying "Xbox go to Halo: The Master Chief Collection"
Couldn't they maybe make it work if one or the other were digital and the other was a disc and present in the tray, but not if both were physical?

For the SP the lighting and textures look alot better, MP is the same as the PC but with proper 60 fps animations

When it comes to new games I buy almost everything physically, with very rare special-case exceptions. This game is my third such exception for precisely this reason. Plus, getting to play it marginally sooner is always nice.
That said, I still would like to get a physical copy someday if it ever goes on sale for cheap enough, just because I'm dumb like that.
Probably, or just prompt you to insert the disk. It just depends on how they decide to handle it.

I actually get this logic completely. My 360 collection is amazing, and i'd like to own the next gen games on my 360 as well to keep it filled and legitimately complete. Games like Shadow of Mordor and Wolfenstein which i already own on the Xbox One.
If I were you, never having played anything Halo - do not start with MP.
Start with the SP. Difficulty on Heroic. Get at least one friend to play with you to co-op the campaign(s).
That way you´ll learn the weapons, movements and necessary tactics while diving into the immense lore of Halo. It´ll be a glorious experience, I envy you!
If you start directly with MP, given your bad ping, and all the longtime fans of the series diving right into that - it´d make a frustrating experience.
I recently discovered that i'm not a MASSIVE fan of videogames. I'm just a HUGE fan of halo. Honestly after playing the halo series for the last 10 years it's spoilt other FPS games for me because they always fall short. When they released the Halo CE anniversary edition for the X360 a few years ago it just cemented this theory. Despite simply improving the graphics and keeping the gameplay exactly as it was 10 years ago it blew all other FPS gameplay out of the water in the 10 years that superseded it.
Its the small things; the animations, the AI interplay hierarchy and combat chatter, the weapon design, sandbox and the simply unrivalled soundtrack and musical score. It was a perfect storm of designers at their creative best and a brand new console on the market.
I'm looking forward to playing this "new" game more than any other in the release schedule.

My advice: Try to use BR or DMR in campaign and make sure you get headshot for every kill.
That is the key to victory in MP.

I will keep that in mind! Thankfully I hear really good things about the campaing aswell!
Do you know if I will be able to choose the Data Center with the lower ping, just like we can do in TitanFall? Cause I think that if I play on US servers I will have a ping lower then 200ms. On my own country however I will have 200+ ms (route problem).

Best advice is imho to aim to the body until the shield pops, and then go for the head for the final headshot. Only for Sniperrifles and the Halo CE pistol it matters if you're hitting the head when the shield is active.

I was on the fence of whether I wanted to keep my preorder, but I think this video helped me make up my mind to get the MCC. Looks pretty good, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Halo 2 Anniversary turns out.
I remember using the BR for the first time in H2 on the level where yore shooting the Drones (New Mombassa?) early on and thinking it was really, really weird to use and didn't expect something like to be so different to the AR. Pretty much ubiquitous now tho.
On this footage however, it looks awesome and CE may be the game I'm most excited about in the Collection.

If Halo 5 seamlessly integrates into the MCC, you'll have convinced me to buy both digitally. Of course the sooner you confirm this, the better. Because you know, release date's coming soon and whatnot
I think over still makes "Halo 3 playlists are run by one guy" jokes.

It's a missed opportunity. Having medals in CE is great, but them using the Halo 4 ones just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They've got bad visual design, there are way too many of them and they vary very little. You could pick the medals of any of the other Halo games and it would be a huge upgrade.
Honestly though, I'm more poking fun at the glitch that makes a ton of them show up at once.
