I hope the rage would be caused by beloved developers working on a new IP for them. Let 3rd party developers choose to make exclusives where it makes sense (Persona, Disgaea, etc) and continue to hire developers to make new IPs for them.
I wouldn't mind if it was a dead IP that has no signs of ever coming back. Bushido Blade, Urban Reign, or Bloody Roar pls.

I really hope they don't attempt another VGX this year. Last year's was beyond awful. I actually felt insulted watching it. No Man's Sky reveal and Joel Banderas were great though. But this would be an awesome replacement.
