The first two I think.
EDIT: NES
On the VC NES emulator? No.Oh nice, I'm at work now and don't have my 3DS handy, but I take it you can't change the button mapping on them?
Just remember that with 3DS NES games, if you struggle with the locations of the A/B buttons, X is mapped to B as well by default. People always seem to miss or forget that.

Speaking of wich, I'd really like to have Contra 2 The Alien Wars on the VC.
Has anyone played Ballpoint Universe yet? I just watched the trailer, the hand drawn visuals look fantastically detailed and the apparent platform/shmup hybrid gameplay looks very intriguing.
FWIW I'll be doing a giveaway for this one next week.
Greetings, so I have an update to mention abut the Wii U version of Oddworld: New And Tasty. I conducted a very, very large interview with founder Lorne Lanning yesterday (I'll refrain from linking due to forum rules for now, it somebody else wants to do it, sure, fine.) and I asked him about the Wii U version of the game and I have some bad news to bring. The Wii U version is in trouble and may get cancelled outright, nothing to do with Nintendo personally, Lorne wants Oddworld on a Nintendo system and has much respect for him. Anyway, New and Tasty for the Wii U has hit some as I was told serious production delays have hit that version, it specifically has to do with the hard drive space, I think they are still building with the basic model in mind. Just wanted to relay this news to you all.

What the fuck??? Why would they build it with the basic in mind? Literally no one with a basic (who must only be a small proportion of Wii U owners anyway ) would be downloading big games anyway
I think it is that mentality of you have to build for the lowest common denominator is persisting, but yea, it is very strange and perplexing reason. Maybe I am infering wrong, but what is certain is they are having production issues.
Are there any size limits on eShop titles? I know the digital versions of retail titles seem to have no limit as Tekken Tag Tournament was rather hefty
Even if they get it to "fit" in a basic basic owners (without hard drives ) wouldn't be downloading it anyway, a lot of their space will get get eaten by saves and updates, anything over a few hundred megabytes is pretty much pointless for basic owners
Did you not try suggesting to him just to release it at whatever size it needs to be?
How big was the game for PSN?

"@MrValtor We're working hard on New 'n' Tasty for Wii U, and that's the opposite of lazy!"

They might cancel cause of Basic. That is a shitty reason to cancel and just lazy excuse.

Edit : yeah I remember the cube days. And the WiiWare file limitations. But to use this now...

Sometimes I wonder what devs are even thinking.
Wish this were the case for GB games. Because Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2 were made very cumbersome with the default set up.Just remember that with 3DS NES games, if you struggle with the locations of the A/B buttons, X is mapped to B as well by default. I presume it's not open to Canadians as apparently the game isn't releasing here (this trend is really pissing me off, btw)

I guess they were too successful with the PS4 version so they don't need additional sales. Probably also the PC version has some HDD issues, seeing as there is no release date about that either. And a Basic owner by definition isn't too much into digital shopping or has already a USB HDD by now. Maybe they should pay for some consultancy from Shin'en on how to optimize the space. This game is already long overdue, by the time the other version will hit the market it will be on PS+ for free and the value of it will decrease significantly. Too bad about all the nostalgia, I guess that can be cured on the next Steam summer sales too.
Pretty sure games on the eShop can be more than the basic model's HDD space. Heck, wasn't Tekken Tag Tournament 2 like 11GB or something? & I know Hyrule Warriors is almost 8GB, & that's not including the patches.http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-General/INFO-Oddworld-New-n-Tasty/td-p/43507090
Oddworld New N Tasty is 4.5GB on PSN. So, the 8GB Basic model has, what, 3GB left after the FW install?
you're forgetting you gotta double the size to install.
9 gigs. factor in OS and shit. they got a lot of stuff to cut down on to squeeze the game for a fresh Wii U basic

That is odd. I guess if you entered and won we could see if the code worked for you. Usually I'm under the impression all NA codes work anywhere in the US or Canada.
What? The game isn't released in Canada? That is stupid...
This is crazy build for those that have 32 gig or harddrive. I mean I had harddrive day 1 on Wii U... seriously this should not be an issue.
If it's just 1 week behind, i can see it as being a mistake of some sorts.I just checked and it's listed as releasing Oct. 23, so perhaps they just forgot to cross some T's and dot some I's.
Frederic: Resurrection of Music still isn't available in Canada. I contacted the devs about it a while back and they were like, "wow, we didn't expect so many Canadians would care." Like, what the fuck are you releasing a game for if you don't think people will want to buy it?

Now that is just stupid! All it takes to release your game in Canada is to have your game store page entry translated, which is easy, even free with friends/online goers. Game itself can stay in English/etc. It's literally that easy and painless.
Taking a quick look at my stats, my game has had 15% sold in Canada. Not something you ignore, esp when it has no extra fee to release there...
Just to allay any confusion the fine folks at Nintendo Everything have transcribed everything Lorne said about the Wii U version of New and Tasty on my show.
