I am curious. I used Sceptile against him, so I tried when he was on Green.
It has to be more than 1x catch rate though.

If anyone has a US code, I'd love to give one to my girlfriend's kid. He played X/Y for over 200 hours. If I get my code eventually, i'll pay it forward.

I'll even trade some club nintendo codes for it. I have a handful of dupes.

100% capture rate I think, I caught him on 100% hp too after getting fed up of trying to lower his hp.

I assumed the RNG was rigged here like it is for the "how to catch Pokemon" tutorials.

A back of an envelope calculation for something with a 255 catch rate (the easiest the game can give you; these tend to be things like Caterpie) throwing a Pokeball would have a 1/3 chance of being captured from full health; I've seen it succeed 100% of the time in this demo.
