In this thread we share friend code for switch 2!

Switch online lacking a decent way to send messages of any kind to friends has always made adding friends I don't know in person just feel so pointless. You still need to actively talk to someone outside of the actual system level to arrange any gaming together, and that's annoying. I say this, because I've participated in sharing Switch friend codes during the Switch 1, and even added some people I played random games online with...but because I can't message them on the switch, i have NEVER played with any of them again in years because there's no good way to just say "hey, wanna play this game together" or "hey can i join you?"

Regardless of multiplayer, I mostly like having Switch friends because sometimes I check and see what games my friends have sunk a lot of hours into. I've discovered some awesome games that way.

I'd be happy to do so but I would not want to have added people I don't play with our haven't played with, do we have a discord server or something where we can plan matches or whatever?

Add me, especially if you plan to one day play an Animal Crossing or something else that does online. I'm just not into racing or fighting online. I'm down for shooters, action or whatever.

Are you playing new horizon on switch 2? I just started a new island on S2 and am looking for people to play with.
 
Like most here it'll be nice to have a few peeps on the friends list for those occassions (eg Mario Kart World). Maybe even fire out the odd message when you come across a hidden gem on sale etc?

Games wise, currently playing Mario Kart World and love me a good shmup. I've got quite a few shmups, a lot of which support 2 player (online and offline), so would be up for some multiplayer. Any other suggestions, please post them here.

Not sure what region everyone is in (I'm UK) - but we should try and work out a session of MKW. The first one will prob be a cluster... but we have to start somewhere.
What about this coming Sunday (6th July) - who would be available, and what time/region?

Unfortunately it looks like it's as dead as a dodo. As usual when it comes to the bit, no-one has posted regarding availability, and no-one bothered joining the Discord room I had setup.
