I don't think they're going to bring back Sara with the Lazarus pit anymore. Her death is a major driving point for Laurel becoming the new Black Canary.

The worst for me is that I'm not even sure why I hate her. It's probably a combination of things. The dumbest part is probably her face. I'm not sure what it is, but somethings is weird and wrong about it. The thought of seeing her being the mask just irks me and doesn't feel right. And then her attitude and the way she's written, like there's always some kind of problem or drama she has to face. I guess it kinda reminds me of the problem I had with Halt and Catch Fire at the end. She just can never catch a break or have a genuinely good moment (in before: posters mentioning her good moments). I think for me it's just exhausting to follow her through all that shit and I rather had her killed than Sara.

Laurel and Thea are terrible for broadly similar reasons, which is that they're written to be unreasonable, snappy, and drama prone. They get super angry and emotional about pretty much everything, you couldn't stub your toe without Thea threatening to leave the family or Laurel scrunching her face up into that scowl we know so well.

I guess that's the thing, yes. I hated Thea for the same reason. Now both of them are being written to act badass and kick some ass this season, but I can already see them to break down during some important moment or scene and be all like "omg, no! I can't do this!". It doesn't even matter if good or bad. It's like the writers don't want a strong woman in the lead cast.

I hope to be proven wrong.

Her physique is going to be perfectly believable, especially considering Caity Lotz isn't extremely muscle bound either. Caity's strength in depiction of Canary comes from her martial arts, dance, and parkour training more than her actual physique. I'd guess they're at least working on the parkour/acrobatic side of that with Katie as well.

100% believe this just misdirection. He's ultimately a good guy being played as a creeper deliberately.

Sorry, but those photos just prove Ex Nihilo's point. Katie is a stick figure. Unfortunately that's pretty much rigueur de jour on TV and movies, which is why we're getting such a scrawny Wonder Woman.

Unless he had/has a problem with Caity's physique then it doesn't make his point. I haven't seen anyone complain about Caity's believability due to not being super bulky so I don't know why Katie would get those complaints at all.
