The Order 1886

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture

I thought I had heard Cyberpunk 2077 was shooting for October 2015. It may have gotten delayed but that's probably the game I'm most excited about.

I only see 1 game that interests me and I have a VERY strong feeling it's going to be ass considering the developers (Battlefront).

I think I'm just tired of gaming or something.

OP, why do you list games like No Man's Sky or Rime with the AAA games, but put other games such as The Witness, below, or inside as "Indy" games.

I can understand you might be more excited for thoes games, but it seems unfair to list other games as "Indy" and not those.

Some of PS4 games you didn't count!

02/19 God Eater 2 Rage Burst
02/26 Dragon Quest Heroes
02/?? Earth Defence Force 4.1
03/12 Yakuza 0
03/26 Senran Kagura Estival Versus

Edit:

If all of these actually come out in 2015, along with games announced and released in the same said year (with 3DS games), I'll have no money left and no time to play them all and I'll be very happy.

What is making people think Zelda U will be delayed? I'm not cynically asking, I actually want to know.

Is it because of DK and X? Well, I feel like DK was to fill 2014 and not development, but I'm not sure. Or is it because only 20 seconds were shown at E3? I figured that was because Hyrule wasn't out yet personally, or for another reason.

Early this year, I kind thought Smash would get delayed, but it didn't. And it actually has more content than I thought.

Duuno, I don't see Zelda getting delayed, especially when there's nothing else for Christmas.

I think the X1 lineup looks fine to me, not as many games as the PS4 but it has more that I'm interested in and Halo will most likely be the biggest selling exclusive in 2015 so I think they'll be fine

They'll probably have a few surprises at E3 too since this year mostly focused on 2014, I'm expecting a gow collection and maybe a new banjo.

Gears of war collection? Yeah, I can see that happen. Banjo in 2015? Nah, no way. Just read the recent comment by Phil Spencer regarding Rare's new game and he makes it sound whatever Rare have cooking is very early in the oven.

I'm guessing he didn't count games most of us won't be able to play.

I never heard anything as specific as October, but I thought it was scheduled for 2015 too. But it's entirely possible TW3's problems pushed it back, too.

Yeah, Sony are seriously gonna make up for 2014 next year looking at that list.
That's not even to say 2014 was bad, but it wasn't great. Next year should be fucking incredible.

Time to accept it--2014 has been awful. It's picking up a bit now, but if you weren't into indie games and became an owner of an XB1 or a PS4, this was a very lonely year.

Note: Most of these games are just 2014 games pushed back to 2015, for all the people mentioning delays.

Although...LMAO. It kinda means 2015 itself would've been all but dead.

You don't need to put "probably" next to Forza 6 anyway. Microsoft's anticipating GT7 next year so it's being stacked against it, even though GT likely won't hit next year.

The Xbox One will have at least 1 more exclusive revealed next year. And honestly I hope Sony and MS don't release more games. 2015 is already too stacked and with both consoles I really won't be able to keep up.

Very likely. Pretty sure there will be one or two for the ps4 as well. Surely they have to have something other than Uncharted to face off with Halo 5, Tomb Raider and whatever else MS have up their sleeves for the holidays? Amazing looking first half 2015 for ps4 though. Will make up for a rather lacklustre first year in a big way. 2015 will be a defining year for the ps4 in terms of exclusives.

So I changed No Man's Sky, because that isn't a PS4 exclusive. It's just going to be on PS4 before other consoles, but will be released on PC as well. EA/DICE have just announced that there will be another Battlefield (not Hardline) at the end of the year too.

Battlefield 5 is 2016, Star Wars Battlefront is 2015. No Man's Sky is Timed exclusive for PS4 later coming to PC, may or may not ever come to XB1. Since this is a 2015 list, timed exclusives are just considered exclusive since they will be during 2015

It's a console focused list, and he said if its a console exclusive or timed then he put it under whatever console it was exclusive to.

Essentials is missing The Tomorrow Children, which other than Bloodborne, looks like the best and most creative thing to come out on any platform.

edit: Holy cow just realised you also ignored every Japanese game for PS4 bar Bloodborne, as well as Tearaway, and Until Dawn. What on earth is your qualification for being fat that needs to be trimmed beyond being and Xbox exclusive?

Hehe. The lengths some people will go eh?
edit: Especially considering Tearaway Unfolded will be a greatly expanded version of an already brilliant game with was very well received by critics (87 on metacritic) and regular joes alike. A sure thing if ever there was one.

we say this every year, every year has been crazy for ages

yeah except this is like the first time that we are getting a lot of stuff that isn't made for last gen. I think 2015 is definitely one of the more exciting years compared to the last eight years or so

That was before The Witcher 3 was delayed. As of E3 Cyberpunk 2077 was a design bible, a stack of concept art and some tech demos. Honestly i would be surprised if we see it before 2017.

ps3
Metal Gear Solid 5
Persona 5

WiiU

Zelda U
Xenoblade X
Yoshis Wooly World
Mario Maker
Splatoon
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Star Fox

interested in all these bad boys. mario party 10 maybe too. the multiplayer seems like fun.

The Order - Quantum Break, pretty but kinda boring looking third person shooters
Forza 6 - GT7, big racing games
Uncharted - Tomb Raider, action adventure, globe trotting, treasure seekings, light puzzle solving, cinematic as fuck
Bloodborne - Scalebound?, new Japanese IP action-RPG(?) thing from renowed director
Persona 5 - Halo 5, they both have 5 in the title

Now they just need to moneyhat an equivalent of Ratchet and Clank and MS will be in business

Planetside 2 for the ps4 is not going to make it this year. Should be added to 2015 list. Yeah, I know it has been available on pc for ages, but it is a console exclusive and according to the developers reworked to suit console. Reeally looking forward to it.

Metal Gear Solid 5
Batman Arkham Knight
Resident Evil Revelations 2
Project CARS
Resident Evil REmake HD
Uncharted 4
The Order 1886
Ys
Zelda U
Xenoblade X
Mario Maker
Fatal Frame localization?

Yeah, no way I'm buying all that. Gonna be waiting on a lot of used copies to come down in price/hope that PS Plus starts getting retail games so I can resubscribe. Only the games in bold are must-gets (Uncharted 4 would be, but you know those games are always $15 used after 8 months)...though Mario Maker has the potential to be beyond awesome and move into that must-buy category. Some stuff like Persona 5 I'm just going to wait on the inevitable upgraded version. And kind of expecting Zelda to get pushed back to 2016.

Xenoblade is going to own me though.

Bloodborne, Witcher 3, and MGS5 as well as 2014 games are all I need for the first 8-9 months of 2015. Then next fall we'll see the almighty trio of Uncharted 4, Halo 5, and Zelda Wii U. Hopefully none of these games will be delayed as them alone would make for one of the greatest years ever.
