Some Playstation Experience games and developers announced

Huh? In terms of Japanese Sony 3rd party Sony exclusives there are lots next year:

02/05 Bloodborne
02/19 God Eater 2 Rage Burst
02/26 Dragon Quest Heroes
02/?? Earth Defence Force 4.1
03/12 Yakuza 0
03/26 Disgaea 5
03/26 Senran Kagura Estival Versus
??/?? Neptune VII
??/?? Persona 5
??/?? One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
??/?? Y's
That's a pretty damn good list. If these don't sell PS4s in Japan, then all hope is lost.

Problem is, most of 'em come out on more than just Ps4. Yakuza is on Ps3, God Eater also on Vita and so on... i really hope Ps4 will sell well in Japan, need dat Japanese third Party support.

Well, the PS4 versions of multiplats are either even or selling more than the PS3 right now. Bloodborne and Type-0 + FFXV demo are going to be the main drivers in early 2015. These might convince people to get the system to play those along with the cross-gen games.

Focus efforts on crash not knack...please Sony, I don't ask for that much

Crash is never coming back. If Sony wants to make a new platformer then they need to revive Ape Escape or Jumping Flash. JF is basically the most perfect game possible to show off Morpheus. And AE is the best platforming series that they have.

I agree, definitely. Everything but not Knack 2, please.

I hope Sony is savvy enough not to give Knack anymore limelight. It was a crappy game that padded out the launch line-up of a new console. It shifted some copies and served its role, let's just leave it at that.

So, looks like KH3 has a shot at being at this event, considering Disney and Square Enix are going to be at this event :D!

Guerrilla and Sucker Punch showing off their future projects (maybe a new IP from SP and that long rumored WRPG from GG) alongside Naughty Dog finally showing off Uncharted 4 in a playable state.....and maybe announce a new Crash tittle :D? Sony pushing Destiny so hard has to have given Activision a reason to trust Sony with a IP of 'theirs' (as Destiny has more or less been pushed as a PS4 exclusive with the advertisement and hype).

I will happily board the hype train for this; hopeful to see lots of amazing new games :D.

SolidSnakex, any chance we might see Gravity Rush 2 at that Japanese awards show Sony is holding in December?

If I had it my way the game would've already been announced. So who knows. If it's a PS4 title now then it's possible that it could popup at the PS Experience.

Speaking of GR, the character designer for it did some art for the Danganronpa calendar

Wasn't there news recently about Gravity Rush 2 being cancelled?

There's never been any news like that. Toyama even confirmed last month that he's interested in working on a new horror game, but his attention was currently focused on GR2.

Oh shit, false alarm then!

Sorry, I must have confused it with some other game.

No worries. I'm just concerned that you may be right and I've missed something, but I'm about 90% certain that someone (might have even been SolidSnakex actually) pasted a tweet by the man on here mere weeks ago that he was still working on Gravity Rush 2.

If that ever got cancelled I'd go postal or something. PS4, Vita, cross-platform, Wii U, whatever, I need to play it!

I was just asking what you think because you seem quite knowledgeable on matters such as these. I know there's some sort of awards show next month, but I have no idea if Sony shows trailers for new games during it or not. Would seem like the perfect event to showcase GR 2 if they do.

And Danganronpa spoilers...

isn't that image kind of a major spoiler? That is Junko right?

I just realized you're the one whose always clamouring for a Gravity Rush sequel in a number of past threads.

Oh man, I probably nearly gave you a heart attack just now LOL

Double apologies then.

No need to apologise! I don't mean to bang on about the game all the time, it's just that it's a difficult time to be a Gravity Rush fan right now, haha.

Generally, the PlayStation Awards are strictly awards ceremonies. The difference this year, however, is that the president of SCEJA teased some sort of "special PlayStation 20th Anniversary project."

I think Shunsuke Saito could make Sudeki's characters appealing.

It is 5,500.
Ok, let me ask this.
As a man coming from across the country with limited funds. When should I arrive to guarantee a spot? The night before?
Okay, you can get answers from us, or you can do the one that's guaranteed to be correct. Grab someone who's in charge and ask them when you need to show up. They'll tell you what time the line will start and everything else you need to know. Do this the day before. I would personally check the status of lining up the night before and 4 if not 5 hours before it starts. I won't give you false pretenses by attempting to tell you a safe time ther than SUPER EARLY.

The keynote should be one of the events they stream, hopefully.

Looks like it's all still being planned out. Probably to avoid leaks.

Realistically, do people expect the Keynote to fill up?

It'll fill up, easily. It's almost certain that you'll need to get in line early, but whether or not you have to do it... the night before, and it's fine to queue early in the morning is the question, because 5,500 is a lot to fill up.

Let's hope more details open up about this.

Pretty sure they keynote is already full . Someone had posted about how only the first 5500 to BUY a ticket could get in and that's why the tickets are numbered . And I think when someone brought a ticket quickly after the announcement he got 2k and when he got another ticket recently (2 days back) he got 10k . I'm sure some of the sub 5k ticket ppl won't show but I highly doubt ppl above 8k have any chance of making the keynote . It's not about how early you show up but rather how quickly you got your ticket.

I would be safe and be there early in the morning to scope out the place, if it looks to have tons of activity then jump in. If not, no worries.

How many tickets were being sold overall for this?
