This was a OK filer episode, but wow, what a Roy flip at the end!

I think he is receiving mental images from some other Mirakuru soldier who has killed Sara. Maybe Grundy.

Is this the first episode with no flashbacks for Oliver?

If memory serves, third

There was one that dealt with the Lances last season (it referenced Oliver, but don't think he showed up)

And the Suicide Squad one was Diggle-centric

Oh and I guess technically the Thea episode this season

They sure didn't wait to show off the results of her off-season fitness routine

The only thing I thought was annoyingly dumb about this episode was the completely unnecessary last flashback scene. Can't we just leave it that Felicity looked and acted a different way 5 years ago because it was 5 years ago? Is it really important to note that as soon as boyfriend went to her jail, she immediately dyed her hair and changed the way she dressed?

Minor point, but it just seemed like an incredibly forced and pointless way to bridge the flashbacks to present day.

I kind of agree

Like as far as I remember, there's nothing to explain the change from Goth-esque to dying her hair blonde and wearing glasses

Like there was a bridge missing there

Piss poor episode. The intro was great. And Thea/Oliver scenes.
Everything else reminded me of those 90's hackers B movies.

And we're supposed to think Roy is the killer? Stupid unnecessary plot twist. Everybody knows it's not him. Well at least the actor gonna do something instead of just stand here.
Let me guess : a villain drugged or hypnotised him.
Vertigo N°4456466 ex plus alpha?

Vertigo don't hypnotizes you, he makes you fill dizzy. I think it's a mindcontroller at work.

That scene also introduced the threats for that episode: the virus, boyfriend or roommate villain, etc. that was the bridge to me. The hairs dye thing was bonus info... If anything they focused too much on plot in the flashback and not enough on more interesting info about felicity

Actually I've been thinking and I think it's a huge lame red herring. Roy's dreams/memories are being mixed up with the cop he killed. Also why he would appear to be on Mirakuru in the memory. I think the show runners mentioned that plot line would be coming back. Fits the theme of guilt. The Sara mystery was stated to last the first half of the season I think. Just putting it out there, I hope it's not the case, it would be lame. Give us Young Justice please.

That was a waste of Brother Eye. It was just some dude that wanted money. It doesn't even seem to tie in with the OMAC stuff.

Holy shit at that ending though.

Who said everything has to be a twist? When you have a 42 minute episode and it's obvious who the antagonist is 5 minutes in there's a problem.

and you can't tell me it's not obvious. Her and the other dude just want to do a simple hack and this guy makes his own call and then gets mad at his gf because herp derp i wanna be a hero!

They essentially had arrows points at him letting you know he's important and it wouldn't be the last time you see him.

I didn't say it wasn't I just think there's nothing wrong with it and doesn't account for poor writing just because it was obvious. That's like saying Basic Instinct is bad because the killer is obvious throughout the entire movie.

The real Brother Eye without Batman would be weird. And the OMAC project is a few levels too high for the current Arrow Crew to handle without bullshit. But I'd love to see Maxwell Lord appearing.

Regarding the ending.

No way Roy actually killed her. The part where she dies had the Bow sound you know that ting... Roy's scene could and didnt have it.

I feel like it is the beginning, not the end of Brother Eye.

I feel like you don't bring in Brother Eye and hint at OMAC to just throw away Brother Eye haha
