I've finished catching up, GAF. I had failed this city. I have atoned with a mighty week-long Netflix Arrowthon™.

In the previous season they teased Harley in the episode and even had an actress in full make up for that scene (that was deleted later on).

What are the chances she makes an appearance?

How many seasons have the actors signed on to?

Unless you've got some clout already or the producers and network love you it's seven years. Amell has talked about the series going for 5 seasons for a while now, but lately he's been saying 6 instead so it's safe to say they have him for at least six years. The rest of the cast will be on something similar. Can pretty much guarantee Katie Cassidy is. Emily and Colton are probably a year behind everyone as they were regulars in the first season and Barrowman might have something special because he'd negotiated his role outside of contracts with producers for S1 and S2. For the most part they'll sign people for more years than necessary out of safety.

I don't believe CW has signed anyone to a 7 year contract since the networks formation. I believe all of their 2007 shows had six year contracts across the board, and I know the main cast of The Vampire Diaries was only obligated for 6 years because they're currently undergoing a difficult negotiation with one of their stars for a Season 7.

I don't believe CW has signed anyone to a 7 year contract since the networks formation, unless they've done so recently. Every show they picked up in 2007 had 6 year commitments and I believe so does The Vampire Diaries (which I only know because there's currently a difficult negotiation ongoing with one of their stars for a season 7).

That'd be why Amell keeps saying six years then. Taking a look online it seems CBS/CW tends to favor the six over the seven years for a lot shows.

Do you know why it was deleted?

Anything to do with the upcoming Suicide Squad movie?
Probably because it wasn't Tara Strong. Seriously, I can't imagine anyone better for the role. She obviously has the voice (duh), but her appearance and behaviour fits perfectly. She would make a good looney.

One thing I hate about her Harley voice is that she sounds too much like Timmy Turner sometimes. It's really weird.

Harley Quinn was just a fun bonus, it is why they could use Cassidy Alexa for the look and Tara Strong for the voice.

Damn, I was really hoping this and the Flash would wrap up at 5.

It actually was Tara Strong.

Also, the flashbacks for Season six can just be reruns from the first season.

Regarding that spoiler pic, the sooner the better. Has to be better than the current line.

Paused a few minutes into the latest episode.

I was wondering this earlier in the season when Laurel got her ass whooped by the wife beater.

Didn't she already know how to kick ass in the first season? She seemed a pretty competent combat then, so how come she can't even take out a lowlife thug or throw a straight punch?

Drugs and booze messed her up pretty bad, man.

I'm curious what kind of threat would require both "The Streak" and "The Arrow" to fight it together. Their power levels are so different. Heck, even Batman usually just sits back and strategizes when the JL have to fight something that can challenge them.

Felicity.

Edit: oh wait, you said 'it', lol. Answer still works :P

Flash is still pretty awful at combat, critical thinking and it seems he can't control his reaction speeds very well. So basically anyone who can slightly confuse Barry has the edge.
Captain Boomerang is a multi episode arc villain

No I'm really enjoying it and we are hooked on it.

I just weren't fond on the way it's build up with a new incident or attack every episode but seeing that's the way they're going I have gotten used to it.

The downside to procedurals. They all can't be epic story arcs like Game of Thrones.

Especially on network. Luckily some creators are good at mixing procedurals with story arcs like Person of Interest.

You would have failed if you stopped watching.
