That PS4 deal is as good as I thought it would get this holiday season (2 pack-ins). Sony doesn't really need to do that much and I doubt they consider potentially losing NPD by small margins for a few months to be worth tens of millions of dollars.

For ~$100 you should get Sony MDR7506s or Audio-Technica ATH-M50s. They'll produce instant eargasm for anyone punishing themselves with Beats (or anything else for twice that).
Not enough to catch up but will surely dent the gap somewhat (in NA) and who knows if the change in momentum will carry over to the next year?
That PS4 bundle is most likely going to get slaughtered.
$280 for PS4 versus $160 for XB1.

amazon usually has those as lightning deals, they go fast but you should be good if you order the first minute/have prime
think amazon is doing a prime members get deals 10 minutes before the non prime members
i didn't see forza horizon 2 before, 3 games that just came out last month for $75 is a great deal, plus i can lock in trades on amazon a week/few days before so i can beat it and trade it in
mario kart 7 is $30 at target right now, so for $15 i will buy it again

I know I am hoping for one this year as well.
I paid $149 something for mine at Amazon, which was price matching target. It was $150.
I'm not saying the PS4 is a bad deal, just that it cannot match the value in XB1 deal.

They're only bleeding the $50, plus potential revenue from the copy of AC. Target's undercutting the extra $20, and tossing in $50 of credit (getting the customer back in the store. ).
Really? You guys get some discounts on systems? I work weekends at Best Buy and since BB doesn't make hardly any profits on systems there is no discounts on them.
