Target - Black Friday ad (XB1 AC Bundle $330 + $50 GC, PS4 GTA/TLOU, lots of games)

Really? You guys get some discounts on systems? I work weekends at Best Buy and since BB doesn't make hardly any profits on systems there is no discounts on them.

10% employee discount store wide, on anything

add in the 5% red card discount and it's one of the few reasons i'm still with the company lol

I kind of wonder how much of the AC Xbox One bundles they'll even have in stock. I kind of figure they're using this as an opportunity to sell the standalone Xbox Ones that they've probably stockpiled through the year.

If PS4 is the definitive version for all multiplat releases, why spend that amount of cash?

For SS overdrive, KI? Is that really worth tying up another HDMI port?

If the 360 is the definitive version of multiplats, why buy PS3, for Infamous and Killzone?

If the PC is the definitive versions of multiplats, why buy PS4 for Infamous and Killzone?

I'm not into spinoff AC games and I don't really want to step back into last gen, but Rogue for $35 seems awesome. If Best Buy matches it in their ad, I'll probably bite.

The only good deals are the Xbox One and PS4 bundles. Maybe the 40" TV too.

Do 5% Discount count?

Big Wow on Xbox One

  • $329!
  • 2 Assassin's Creed Games (I can probably sell them for $70)
  • $50 Target Gift Card

PS4 Bundle is pretty good too

  • Next Gen GTA5
  • Next Gen The Last of Us

Gahhh, sorry for repost!

Glad my family does Thanksgiving Lunch, sucks for those that can't enjoy Thanksgiving because they have work.

I told my mom last year eventually we will get to the point where BF deals will start on Wednesday (I think they are at Belk this year) and resume before night fall on Thanksgiving Day and go until Friday night, pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

However, $25 for TEW and SoM, and Far Cry 4 comes with a $15 GC, and that Disney Infinity set looks incredibly tempting. Should be another fun night of shopping.

if sony advertises an official gta v bundle during commercials showing the improvements/ content the game displays they will kill november.

IT HAS BEGUN!!!!!! Stuff I want isn't massive so hopefully I can get online and skip Target B&M. I am down an extra controller for PS4 and Xbone. Doubt the other colorways are available for purchase but oh well my PS4 main is acting weird lately time to trade it to Gamestop lol. Also in for some cheap Beats if I can get the all blue drenched ones. They not worth retail by any means but this price looks nice. Edit: doh I bet they the old models. cant see the sku in OP.

Bought a Xbone Unity bundle yesterday from TRU to be my shooters console. I got the Skylanders Trap Team starter pack with it for free and dumped it to Amazon for $42. So this BF bundle isn't that ground shattering. PS4 holiday bundle is a beast, score big for those who waited.

$329 for the Xbox One bundle is really enticing, even as someone pretty burned out on Assassin's Creed. Ideally I'd like to find the Sunset Overdrive bundle instead, though that's been selling out quickly.

Shadow of Mordor is mine @ $25.

Man, all these Black Friday doom-and-gloom commenters always crack me up. The media likes to perpetuate all the instances of stampedes and such, but the only reason they make the news is because they're so rare.

The only downside to Black Friday is waiting in long-ass lines for seemingly endless amounts of time. If you're grabbing a few games from Best Buy or Target, you'll find yourself in a line upwards of 15-20 minutes just to checkout-- and that's if they have their shit together and are processing everyone quickly.

I have never had to rush for products, get into a fight for an item, scrounge for leftover sale items, murder someone for that last TV, or witnessed anything similar to that-- and I'm in Metro Detroit, where most people would assume the rampage would be sky-high.

That said-- the deals have yet to sway me to step foot out of my home this year. The only reason I left last Thanksgiving was to grab a 60" TV (and managed that in less than an hour with no queuing , even with extremely limited stock), and I certainly won't bother going out of my way on the holiday to buy some games marked down a little bit. Shadow of Mordor and Evil Within are tempting at those prices, but that's it so far. Fingers crossed for Best Buy.

Games that are $35 are really lame...nothing I want in there :-/

Just wait, Best Buy's ad will be out soon enough and you'll be able to subtract 20% from each of those sales prices.

Pretty soon you'll be all...

why would that be the case though. Consumers aren't dumb. They know GTA is multiplat. you could buy an Xbox get 2 ass creed games and GTA for $340 with this deal

How many people typically show up at 6PM to these openings? How's the atmosphere among the customers?

there's long lines outside these stores before they even open. Most places give out tickets for the big doorbuster stuff so people don't have to stampede back to them.

the annoying people with bad attitudes come hours later like they're entitled to doorbuster prices and then get mad when stuff is gone. I'd actually laugh in their face.

The Last of Us seems to be a digital code. Guess it'll be mainly a GTA V bundle for the holidays and they're just slipping in The Last of Us as a code for Black Friday.

PS4 being as popular as it is getting two high quality games is enough for some people. Both consoles will sell VERY well this holiday regardless.

sony has marketing rights to gta v last i was told just like they did with destiny. it would be down right dumb if they dont advertise this bundle after the release of gta v retail. the average consumer is going to want what is being advertised on tv and whats "hot" at the moment.

Let's hope they do just that.

absolutely disgusting

Having worked at target for a short time in my teens, this does not surprise me.

I want the 15 dollar gift card from Smash Wii U, 3DLand and Shadows of Mordor but don't want to support super shit retail practices.

Absolutely insane deal for the Xbox, even if you get two Ass Creed games, it's still extremely cheap. I wonder how much money they're losing with this. I remember Sony saying they lost all the money they made with the PS1&2 on the PS3.

All the Day One buyers must have smoke coming out of their ears. $500 for no games and a shitty Kinect? Lol, I'd be mad too if I got ripped off that badly. Poor guys.

Anyway, looking to pick up a PS4 bundle after the holidays, but this might force my hand, it's a great deal for titles I was looking to buy anyway. I wonder if we'll get any more value out of Sony.

/s. Let the "I don't regret it one bit" people come right in.

Man I'd totally grab Shadows of Mordor on PS4 for $25 but there's no fucking way I'm actually going to a store on black friday.

Everyone who buys a console on day 1 is fully aware they're being a complete chump and they just don't care. No sympathy needed.

Yeah, three months are half off. I got a cashier to adjust because the deal is not set in the compter system to work with pre-orders. But yeah, MCC gets you 50% off XBL Gold.
Edit: I also hear Unity works as well.

Wait so this can't be done online?

I was hoping to pre-order by today but I won't be able to go to the store. Can I place phone order to get this?

Its not. This is MS Xbox bundle for the entire holiday. There will be replenishment throughout the season.
