Some people say it can be disorienting, others seem to be fine. You can set a world state up on dragonagekeep.com and there's a 'Play' button that narrates the key story to you. You'll probably be fine with that, but if you feel like you need more maybe read a synopsis of the first two games on a wiki.

Honestly, it all depends how invested you are in playing two games just to get a recap.

Lots of folks didn't make it through my DA:O story. He was one I was glad to get the opportunity to end. But there were a lot of other casualties, like Zevren. Or Camp Werewolfood.

I think you can change the gloves and leggings, but I don't think the actual armor can be adjusted. Can change the color though. I'll check in a bit to be sure. This armor I got off a dragon though.

The art book got leaked… a month or so, back I think. Basically, Amazon hadn't updated the Kindle release date to coincide with the game begin pushed back, so people who pre-ordered the digital version got it on the original release day. Various scans made it online, some of them apparently pretty spoilery. I managed to avoid the heavy spoilers, but I did see some concept art for mounts and for various companions. The mounts page had the 'Mountain Nugalope' as well as normal horses and some odd dragon-horse things that have appeared in a couple of the review videos.

It seems that they did everything right this time, no more DA2 fiasco, early revies (hello ubisoft).

No, it's $70 for DD on US Origin. Tax is added to that price if you live in a state that taxes digital goods. The post you're looking at clearly says it's Mexico Origin that has it for $44.

I'm tempted to try the Origins Mexico thing, never used it before but seems simple enough. I have the PC game preordered at gamestop for full price right now but my main concern is having the game downloaded and ready to play day 1 next Tuesday. Should I be concerned if i pull the trigger for the digital version that I won't have it ready to go day 1?
