throwing a tantrum

Are you still going on about whatever? Its so weird reading pages of pages of cool info about DA:I then your random trash talking to various people spread throughout the thread.

I think whatever disagreement you had has been talked to its conclusion. Maybe talk about Dragon Age? Or check out some of the other wonderful threads available...

I see, when you're out of arguments you resort to stuff like "lolol so desperate". it's funny because you even started this pointless discussion by throwing a tantrum about me insulting (?) you or your favourite games, lmao.

Man you're delusional :/

e:
I believe some of you wanted this

shame, i thought necromancer would get skills like "raise skeletons for 20" seconds and what not. oh well, i'll still take dorian with me.

i did that yes

i have "Dawg Armor of Epic Skillz''

this is extremely disappointing since I was planning on going necromancer. Why even call it that? No skeleton/undead minions? 3/4 of the powers seem to be debuff or damage over time. The closest thing to a necromancer in there is killing somebody with a spirit and the spirit taking its shape, but if it only lasts 12 seconds then what the hell. Can this be done multiple times in a battle? Or is it one spirit at a time?

If the answer to the last question is one/few spirits at a time then I might consider another specialization for my mage. I need attackers to help out the one knight I was taking with me since the rest of the party would be ranged.

No, it's $70 for DD on US Origin. Tax is added to that price if you live in a state that taxes digital goods. The post you're looking at clearly says it's Mexico Origin that has it for $44.
Ahh, I see. Brain fart there. Still, it really should be £50 for the DD and £40 for the regular. Still don't understand why digital is so much more than retail.

I really want to go necromancer, but I feel Dorian will be my buddy and I don't want to double up on that spec.

Ice/Lightening and go Rift mage cause I don't think Solas will be in my party much.

I admit I'm a bit underwhelmed. Most of them are just ripped from entropy and spirit trees. Spirit Mark sounds awesome, though.

Spoiler warning and all that.
Oh, someone got a serious front reduction. Face look nothing like the trailers, btw.
And for the other one, no resemblance with mine's at all =/

Edit: Seems the Necro is not particularly good. So, I'm back to either Knight enchanter or Rift mage. Did we ever figure out the full tree of the later? Think we were missing its focus and the very bottom talent.

So how does DA:I deal with the paradoxes that could result in DA:O? I set up my keep world to mirror what I did in DA:O, so
the warden dies, then lets Morrigan go and saves the Vigil Keep, etc. Is the game going to just assume that was a different warden?

Just come out and say you were expecting D2 necromancer

It'll assume the default Orlesian Warden saved Vigil Keep.

I'm planning on always keeping cassandra, varrick, and a mage with me in the party. Because one is the love interest, one is the best buddy, and the other is necessary to provide the necessary buffs. I know for sure I'll be a mage as well. So if this is the necromancer tree I might have to go knight enchanter to have the swords as melee and the [according to wiki] healing spell that creates a glyph that heals allies within an area. I'll bring Solas, Dorian or Maleficent as well. If all of them can specialize as the shield buffing mage class then I'll just go with a favorite.

I was expecting a regular necromancer. It's not like D2 had the only one like that. Even Elder Scrolls has these necromancers.

I'm tempted to get a new PC so that I can play this.

I am fairly sure my laptop would struggle mightily and it would look like ass anyways. Obviously there are other reasons, the biggest one is that I seem to use my computer as an media/entertainment hub and my laptop is getting a bit old. Not to mention that its portable function isnt being taken advantage of. I'd imagine getting a PC that I can upgrade would be cheaper in the long run than buying laptops, considering the way I use them

Tempted to build my own PC even though Ive never done anything remotely like that before and buy a cheap chromebook if I ever need a laptop in the future. I am a bit scared though.

I'm glad. Entropy was my favorite tree so I'm quite happy some of it survives, especially because I don't particularly like classical necromancers with undead summons and what not.

Anybody have a list of all the romance options available?

I know that
Cassandra is one of them because I saw her boobies thanks to Dawg.

It's not hard at all. Check out the I need a new PC thread in off topic and you'll find ready builds at different price tiers. After that just assembling the parts is idiot proof. Even then there's a billion guides and vids you can look at for help.

That's the spec I'm rolling with, too. Necro still has some useful spells but it's not quite what I expected. I also thought it would be a minion master class like Origins' Ranger.

I like entropy and spirit quite a bit too, but I usually prefer to let a companion handle those schools. Which works for me since Dorian seems cool.

Cassandra Pentaghast (male only)

Just realized the early access is Thursday. Sweet. Was gonna get this on PS4 but it's hard to pass up EA basically paying me ($1 lol) to try the game early. Thanks, EA!

Guys I really want to jump on this Mexican Origin deal. Are we sure this will work and play in English or are we going on hopes and dreams? :P

First, thanks to everyone for all of the support and kind words. I'm very new to the community here, but it's been really amazing to see people's excitement! A lot of us at the studio are very relieved but are still working to ensure a smooth launch over the coming days.

Dragon Age: Inqusition, is first and foremost, a game for Dragon Age fans. When we faced the biggest decisions on the project, we always tried to go with, "What would fans want us to do?" It's why there's not just more exploration, there's WAY more exploration. It's why there's more followers than in previous DA games, including some returning ones. It's why there's Skyhold. It's why crafting is back and bigger than ever. It's why there's so much lore.

I've seen some criticisms of that approach because there are times it can feel overwhelming to a new player. I suppose that's valid, so I'll accept that. In the end, I hope the team has created a game that is exciting and interesting enough that a new player will push through that, and from what I can see, there are lots of veteran DA players willing to help! But I'm proud that they made a game first and foremost for Dragon Age fans, and we'll keep working to help new fans enjoy it as well.

Now back to it! :)

straight male characters don't have as many options this time around.
But about the same as usual though.
I mean DAO had Morrigan, Leliana and random females. DA2 had Isabella, elf girl, and again maybe 1 random npc for a night
. So it's a shame but it isn't the end of the world.

All previous games purchased in Mexico can be set to English (actually, it was the default here), not sure why they would go and specifically limit it now. That would be an unnecessary hassle.

The ambition you've taken on this game and what you are seemingly doing on the next Mass Effect / new IP is just right, please don't change!
