There's a little bit of nice squash and stretch animation going on too, something I don't think Sonic's ever done enough.

The rest is an absolutely mess unfortunately.

They're designed for someone playing the game literally fifty times slower. I think they'd be okay if they played that much less often.

I dunno. even on the on rails bits or in the boss fights where you aren't glitching through all the scripted talky triggers they don't shut up.
