I'm a bit surprised at how bad this launch is. I wasn't there for MoP launch but Cata was almost flawless at least on my server.
The queue times are absurd right now. I'd imagine many people aren't logging because of it, and it's making it worse.
Ya. I'm afraid once I actually get in I will just be dc'd soon after. I'm up to about 10 dc's today I think.
That is my nightmare.
Let's share garrisons! Inside the tent:

Ok so my night is ruined....
Not really, since 99.5% of the servers in EU are UNplayable.
Well, here's what awaits you once you get past the 4,000 person queue:
- Select character.
- Loads for a bit.
- Fails.
- Returns to character select screen with comment: Character not found.
Well i guess that softens the blow a little ^.^;
Although i'm more worried about returning it than i am about not being able to play right now.
They could just call me a liar or something, or say that i gave the code away or whatever excuse they can find.
maybe but if that happens, you can contact blizzard maybe they can give you the date on which the key was used.
2300 queue on Kel'Thuzad. It has been a very long time since I've seen a queue that big.
In attempts to pinpoint latency related issues weve temporarily lowered the maximum number of people allowed in each realm. This will result in higher queue times as realms who have populations above the cap will not allow any new players in until it decreases back down below the new player cap. Were continuing work on this and other issues impacting game latency.
I'm really liking the nameplates when important characters show up

new update from blues
Those queues about to double in size lol
This is why they should have stress tests/open betas.
This is why they should have stress tests/open betas.
They do have them. They also had tons of negative feedback about the pre-launch event.
They don't care.
but their hesitance to just spend a ton of money on extra server space that is going to be obsolete once all these people start thinning in out in couple days or so is understandable.
Argh I'm so mad. I logged in remotely over an hour ago while I waited the queue down...I get home and I get a disconnected message. I try to log back in, 2.8k queue for Kel'Thuzad. 90+ minutes. Arghh oh well time to do something else
Blizzard has a VERY good idea about the demand that is going to be put on the servers but their hesitance to just spend a ton of money on extra server space that is going to be obsolete once all these people start thinning in out in couple days or so is understandable.
So on the fence if im gonna buy this.
So on the fence, i haven't played wow since the end of Vanilla
servers will stabalize at some point. Actual game is in a good place bugs aside.
Some of this could have caught then off guard. Last two expansion launches were the opposite of this. Totally smooth. This is why they should have stress tests/open betas.
That's pretty awesome.I'm really liking the nameplates when important characters show up

How do you log in remotely?
