Watching some streams I've also seen a jam packed ton of traffic too.

This is why Rockstar don't want this streamed. People going off half cocked and whining before its actually released.

I have yet to see anything that proves otherwise from these early copies. The city looks totally barren at all times. This is supposed to be LA man. There should be cars and people packed everywhere.

This. I saw tons of traffic and lots of pedestrians at times in those streams, and not much of either at other times.

I wouldn't worry about the density of pedestrians of traffic just yet, the first leaks of GTAV last version made the city look completely dead, but it wasn't like that at all in game.

On the stream, there definitely feels like more traffic on the highways.
