My conflict in doing this is that I managed to Game Over my Last Court game today (didn't realize I couldn't let 2 things get to zero) and apparently it imports and affects...something. It's not much of a conflict though I'll probably get over it...

Really? I know it imports but I heard it has zero effect on your worldstate.
Man that's great news.
I liked ME3 MP, but I bet I didn't play it for more than 4 or 5 hours. They shouldn't force people to play it to get something in SP.
They said it had effects on Inquisition. Given what happens in The Last Court, it is likely very minor things.

Yep sounds like an extreme overcorrection
Official FAQ for Last Court states it has zero impact on Inquisition.
Maybe give Tempest a shot? We know what Assassin plays like, and Tempest seems like the most novel specialty in the game.
Also, glad you enjoyed Legacy. BioWare makes the best SP DLC.

I looked at all the reviews for PC on MetaCritic... got a total of 1599 then divided by 18. which is 88.8333 (repeating of course). Stupid MetaCritic gave it an over all score of 88?! WTF is that! They need to ROUND that S up!
Why bother recording decisions, then? The story sure doesn't show any sign of doing anything that seems remotely significant beyond what Inquisition may cover.
I just expected a dialogue line or two.

Metacritic doesn't weigh all outlets equally. I assume (but I don't know for sure) that the bigger outlets who review more games carry more weight in the average.

It says the 16th on the PS Store (on the icon you click to go to the game page). I hope it's accurate.

I gave a possible explanation for why it wasn't "rounded up." The actual number Metacritic uses could be closer to 88.
To the second part, that's not something they publish.
My previous comment was mostly a joke.
All the previous PS4 games I've pre ordered on PSN (around 6) have started pre loading on Sunday.

This was most likely it's own thread all together, but what are everyone's thoughts on the Dragon Age Keep?
I liked I was able to change a few things in the story. One thing in particular
I thought it was silly something so small wouldn't allow me to make a big change in the story like that... or maybe it isn't a big part of the story...
I hate that I can't import my save files, mainly because I never had my EA/Origin account linked to DA:O or DA2. I had those files sitting on my PC ready to be imported. Yeah, it's okay in the end, I'm able to just remake those decisions in the Keep... but I feel like all those hours wasted on DA2 are now TRULY a waste...

was having Alistair and Anora rule Ferelden together. I apparently wasn't able to make it happen because of a small conversation decision with Alistair when you help find his sister.

Hmm... Well, I don't think that's actually needed in the game. Might be wrong. Didn't think you needed Alistair hardened to get him to go through with it.
Calling any time spent with Varric a waste is borderline blasphemous.

So yeah, after seeing the Giant Bomb quick look and Rorie's segment on UPF (learning it has multiplayer that looks cool was a big boost) and the reviews I've decided to get this (pre-loading now thanks to a US VPN). I skipped out on 2 after reviews, major asset reuse and a change to the combat (coming from a top down strategy view PC player). Even if this doesn't have the same kind of view I enjoyed in DA1 it still looks cool. I used the website to load up my profile (though I had to change things as it seemed to forget most of my actual DA1 choices...) and made the choices for DA2 as how I would have played them if I played it.
Game looks good though. Much better than how DA2 looked to me.

Because I want a company who puts out a great game to get what they deserve? it only takes one or two shit reviews to tank the meta critic score and poof goes their money.

It would be a no brainer for me if I had a Xbone.
At minimum I would probably spend a few hours to get a character to look just right, and then write down the settings so I can create him/her quickly.

So I decided to play dragon age 2 before inquisition comes out. I'm gonna play on easy and steamroll it. Is there a guide to what side quests I can skip and which ones I should do?

Yeah I retract my statement, there were a lot of good things in DA2. Lots of bad things too but yes Varric made it a little more tolerable.
I would suggest doing any marked under the main story and for companions. Journal separates them appropriately. Both main story and companions have their own sections.

I wish I knew. I take it there's no hard and fast rules for this stuff?
Nothing written in stone no =\. Hopefully it starts at a decent time today so mondays maint isnt a problem.
