Not much catching up on boardwalk empire. Went to see the soccer last night Sydney fc vr Melbourne victory was a decent match ended up nill all though. Currently at my sister's place for a bbq later tonight.

Ha it's quite fun if you can get into it. MLS is decent from what I've watched but the premier league is where its at. Only issue for me is that games are usually on at 1-3am in the morning here. But the hope that Everton will one day win the premier league keeps me going heh.

Too bad we couldn't get people to fly out to LA for that Korra wrap party. Could do a huge series finale party as a group.

Then I think...this is just Korra, no one gives that much of a shit about it to do that lol Maybe I'll hit up Toa TAK he's local. Want to record him and all his salty tears when Kuvira gets rekt.

He's not wrong though. The Bolin and Varric scenes have been some of, if not the most, entertaining scenes these past few episodes. The characters have grown from their previous personas and their dynamic works really damn well. Heck, a lot of people in this community have been praising and even have said the same thing.
 
From that tweet, I JUST realized Mako is Bud Bundy.

I never watched Married with Children which is probably why I never realized it before but still: mind blown.

Yeah I'm really enjoying the Boling/Varrick side plot these past two episodes.

Went to the shooting range and been playing all the single player games I need to finish before Far Cry and GTA :D

Need to watch Interstellar tomorrow but all my friends are flaking.

Are you still planning on recording any Korra/Avatar music, or is that not happening any more?

I was actually making that music with the Chemo girl, that bugged the fuck out and went full Azula on me. So I never got around to recording those at my home. However, I actually have access to a professional recording studio right now. Been doing some work in LA I can't talk about right now. I'll try to see for practice, if we can start using some Avatar songs for warm up. And then I can record those. Thanks for reminding me.

Is there any specific songs you want? I also now have string instruments (violin etc). The Asami girl I'm with, plays string instruments, as well as guitar. I play guitar and piano.

Lmao, I find it extremely amusing how you're using Avatar characters to describe people and it all makes complete sense. No songs in particular, though I always loved the Agni Kai music (Zuko vs Zhao in season 1).

Nah, I don't. I can open up one though. I actually only just started getting into music as a job recently. Basically, I went into Uni in LA at this film school (that was actually a University so I got an actual Bachelors). And my division of the school was split up into various sections. But they would also make us collaborate. So, the film students would make film, and then those that work on production/music editing, and making music would work on their final project by scoring the thing (we were then graded on production/the music).

Me and a really close friend of mine worked together all throughout Uni, and had a very good working relationship. He eventually went to work in the film/music industry, but I ended up taking off (at the time, i was doing Press within the music industry, and some film production). Anyways, long story short, I ended up taking a year off from all work as I was fighting cancer at my home.

That buddy then hit me up a month ago and asked if I wanted to come in to help him with something. And from there, we just kind of hit it off again. So I've been going back and forth to LA these past two weeks. And now it's turning into a real gig (something serious). I've always played music since I was 8 (Piano and Guitar). And I always make my own stuff (I have like 100's of my own songs I know by heart that are my own). But yeah, never recorded anything. It's always just been a hobby for me. I never expected to be a job.

But I guess if this is what I end up doing, probably should make an account and start hosting what I make. At the very least, for a portfolio. I do have some stuff from my Uni that I can dig out though. Maybe I'll upload that stuff first to the soundcloud.

EDIT: I'll try to get it all together soon. Maybe I'll start taking requests from you guys.

You guys will be the first to know mang. I'll def do it, because I have to upload the Avatar songs if we work them into practice. So you got it!

I think Toa TAK is up in the valley. Might see if he's interested in visiting when we record sometime. Don't think any other Korra GAF is local to me. I'll have to see if I can get approval though, since we aren't supposed to talk about the project. They made us sign confidentiality shit. Wouldn't want to lose my gig loool

Depends on who the label is. I have a couple connects. One at Golden Voice (who does all the major concerts out here, even Indie acts). But I also got several people at some labels/press. If I can find out who the artists label is, probably could figure out if I have a hook up.

Although you aren't in California. :P

lol, I like Wu and Mako. Some find Wu annoying, but I actually think he can be funny. That said, Mako is going to split off from Wu and will be full time with Korra. Varrick will also split up with Bolin, so he can be with Korra.

Basically, Korra ruins everything. :P

I'm in Riverside county... I think that's south lol but I shamefully admit that idk for sure where that is in comparison to LA.
