is the game not in english for those people who bought in mexico?

Game is German for me and I am unable to change it. I have Origin set to German, so that is probably why.

Thanks for posting this. I already thought I had to download the whole thing again.

I asked this question a few pages back but no one had an answer for me. Do Tempests have to craft their special elixirs or do they just activate them like an ability?

I'm reading through this very detailed and in-depth German review, but Google-translate leaves a lot to be desired. If anyone is interested in reading through it and giving a rough translation that would be appreciated.

Some negative points from the last page of the review:

- weak story (literally: weak script, lame story :lol ).
- few cities that do not seem much alive
- reactions towards the protagonists arent really believable
- no reactions for walking around with drawn weapons or thieving (bit of a nitpick but alright)
- prologue seems to be rushed
- the pinging to find secrets is a terrible mechanic

the conclusion is quite harsh: calls it a mix between storytelling and open world games and the combination is called a rotten compromise. It looks beautiful, but feels like an MMORPG at its core: static and boring. Basically, its form over substance. It looks pretty, but with most of its substance being fetch quests and such it is boring to play. And the combat too is a combination that offers both the action player and the tactical player nothing.

final score: 59/100

Then again, this site gave Skyrim a 90 so eh.

I don't see a tempest tree. Here's what I see for individual trees for Varik:

Double Daggers
Archery
Sabotage
Subterfuge

Its one of the specialization trees so you probably can't see it as of yet in game. I was just checking to see if you may have data mined the info or something =P

What was the game that let you do character creation early, Saints Row 3? I wish that had caught on. Making my guy look like Bradley Whitford is going to take forever.

Really getting pulled more by the warrior class. Sword and Shield gameplay is so awesome this time, and Templar sounds like a really cool spec.

Although I could get my fill of it by switching to Cassandra a lot, no?

Eye color selection is driving me nuts. Because you can't zoom in enough and how dark creators background is it is too hard to tell colors properly and shades of them :(

Also Qunari horns do leave something desired as most of them come with bad hair mixed in with awesome horns.

I'm trying to watch a recap of Dragon age 2 with some random settings i chose in the dragon age keep, but i can only watch the DA:O recap. Do i have to watch that one first or something? D:

He's scoring this higher than the DA:2 review, 70/100. Obvious click bait.

First crash mid character creation, now it just crashes randomly between launching the game and selecting new game.

Can't play at all. Anyone else? I'm updating drivers and such now

Did get Ben Moore his embargo from Ubisoft or what lol? (I know he said it will come later, but still.) I like me some GT review. :-(

anyone else notice this is using up 100% of your system's hard drive every five seconds causing the game to hang?

For some reason, the game won't run in fullscreen mode for me. It's just a black screen until it eventually fails and returns to windowed. (._. )

So just to confirm, the Flames content is included with the Deluxe Edition not pre-order bonus content that will be gone by tomorrow?

Only because on Amazon it says that the "Deluxe Edition also includes the mighty Flames of the Inquisition" and no mention of it being a pre-order bonus only.

So I could pick up the Deluxe Edition at any time (like a month from now) and still get all the Flames content?

That's correct. We wanted to make sure that if you buy the premium priced edition (deluxe) you got the preorder content too.

Apparently the review author of the german review that people have translated, is considered one of the best rpg reviewers in Germany, not sure if the same guy did the Skyrim or DA2 review. Any German gaffers can confirm this?

Also, many of the negative points he made were also made in a more "soft" manner by other reviewers, especially the weak story, the abundance of meaningless fetch quests and the fact that there's is little to no need to use tactical view on normal difficulty.

Planning on picking this up for PS4 but I dinked around with the early access version on xbone last night. Thinking I'm gonna dig this one, it's been awhile since I sank my teeth into an expansive RPG and I loved the DA: Origins (though I barely remember any of the story)

Also uploaded the first 40 minutes or so of gameplay (including character creation) here.

Nobody gives a shit about 4players in Germany... One of the worst sources for reviews so I would not worry. As others said, these guys just want clicks.

Never played a game in the series, but anyway: are the skills trees for the companions set in stone or can you choose their skill tree?

I want to hear more detail on this. I assume it means no one's going to give a shit if you're a Qunari? I was afraid of this.

Don't suppose anyone is trying to play this on crossfire 5870s?

I'm not getting this for a bitt, but if performance is iffy even on low settings I might just buy the PS4 version and borrow my best friend's PS4 since he's currently sucked back into WoW.

The IQ on PC is much better than Xbox One but my PC fans on my GTX 670 kick into overdrive while playing so may just continue on the Xbox One. As a side note it runs perfect on Ultra with my GTX 670 at 1080P

Does the game give you any sort of trial for the different classes before you have to choose? Or should I be reading up on the classes before I start playing?

Steam needs to steal Origin's preload technique. Was excepting it to take forever to launch but nope, nearly instant. Steam likes to unpack like a granny in comparison.
