Am I the only peon waiting till midnight for this?

Tomorrow afternoon for me :(

Looks like the launch trailer is up in two hours, and there's a bunch of Twitch stuff they are doing today for those of us who can't play.

Anyone? If I can play the game early on the PS4 by buying it from the US store instead of having to wait until Thursday for the EU release that would be such a delight.

I've bought it on the U.S store (live in uk) and it says it unlocks in just under 14 hours (5am tomorrow) even when I'm logged into my main UK account. I know that's not confirmation but it seems promising

ok you can unlock with korea and still login to the keep when the vpn is off lol

i5 3570k @ 4.2
8gb of ddr3
2gb 750ti @ 1920x1080

benchmark gives me 30~fps on all high settings with msaa off. audio is not playing or not syncing properly on the benchmark though.

I bought the game from US PSN-Store. I live in EU. I just made a new account, set my console as it´s Primary, bought codes from play-asia.com and the rest is history. I can play the game on my main-account because of it. Good stuff. Countdown-timer is now about 11h and 40mins, otherwise I´d have to wait till Friday...

So if use the proxy to unlock it do you need to keep the proxy up until tonight or it's just to unlock it?

The only quirk is that the world state (from dragonagekeep) needs a network connection - but I don't know if it needs a network connection every time you restart or whether you only need the connection on the 'first run'.

I'm actually impressed.
Even with my crappy PC on mostly high with a few medium settings here and there I'm getting about 45+fps.

AMD Phenom 965 Quad Core 3.4 ghz
8GB ram
Nvidia 670.

As someone new to the series, could someone give me a quick breakdown of the classes and how they work? I understand that there are 3, the warrior, the mage and the rogue. But what makes each one special, and how would you use them?

Also am I stuck to the class that I pick at the beginning of the game?

Thanks in advance!

anyone else noticing it chugging every couple seconds? like it freezes, then unfreezes, then freezes, then unfreezes. This is kind of almost unplayable.

I want to be an elf mage (in three days, sigh). What kind of background stuff options do I have?

Only Dalish Elf, it seems.

Enslaved long ago by humans, most elves still live as second-class citizens within human cities. Elves who reject this life are known as the Dalish: nomadic wanderers who strive to keep the ancient elven religion and traditions alive. You grew up in the wilderness, a member of the Lavellan Dalish clan and apprentice to its leader and guide, the Keeper. The clan wandered the northern Free Marches, and you had little need to interact with humans—until the Keeper sent you to the Chantry's conclave as a spy. What happened there, she said, would impact not only the Dalish but indeed all elves. She could not have known how right she was.
