So my framerate should be around 30fps with everything maxed. Perfectly fine for an RPG IMO.
Look at his rez. He's at 4K.
Ok, thank you
It runs okay with a 280x and a fx 8320 on ultra, not everything maxed out, felt like 30 fps and less. I need to check it with afterburner for correct number
Tested the commands that "unlocked" the frame rate in NFS Rivals, and they seem to work just fine with DA:I as far as forcing cutscenes to render at 60fps is concerned. Simply copy and paste the following commands into the "Command Line Arguments" box found within the game's properties on Origin.
"-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60"
Now, being able to keep a steady 60fps during cutscenes with the same settings used during in-game/gameplay is another story.
Please disregard if old.

I think I'll pass on this game. The performance seems a little poor and people are saying it's all over the place. I really am suspicious of that SecuROM 2.0. I expected better from Frostbite, which makes me more suspicious of that exe protection.

Denuvo is anti-tamper on the executable. This has nothing to do with mods or attempts to change textures or anything like that. Trying to hack the executable to cheat in multiplayer? This is what we are talking about.

As others have said, it looked like he meant 1440p. His performance is what I'd expect from my 670 (maybe a bit worse on my end).

2560x1440 is not 4K (3840x2160)
If it's 30 FPS with 4xMSAA, I'd understand.
Would be nice to try it with Mantle, but the option isn't available; it's greyed out in the menu. Anyone know why? I have the latest drivers. I've tried turning Mantle to 1 in the settings file too. But no joy there.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll put top men on it ASAP.

Fuck. this made it worse for me. Is there a way to reverse this?
Yes the 60 fps cutscenes show that it looks pre-baked animations running at something like 25-29 fps. If you want to force everything to 30 (including framerate ingame) you can go for:
-GameTime.MaxVariableFps 30 -GameTime.MaxSimFps 30 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 30
This still wont fix the cutscene judder but atleast make it "easier" on the eye.
Any word on 21:9 support?
Cutscenes are in 16:9 but otherwise works just fine.

Are you using a AMD graphics card?
Thanks. This is nice to know. Do you know if this caps the frames at 60 or can I still go higher in gameplay if my hardware allows?
:O Definitely gonna try it when I get home. I hope I can run it in cutscenes as well as I can outside of cutscenes.
That's how I've been playing, because the constant changing between 30 and 60 was giving me motion sickness.
megaton, will try this right now. do I leave the " " on?
Well this is disappointing.
970, 2500k, 8GB RAM, 1080p
Mix of high and medium settings and I'm getting anywhere between 24(!!) and 46 fps. While I'm standing still, doing literally nothing, just inside a small town. This is despite the game recommending I max everything out.
And the load times are a pain in the arse. Fuck.
I've sorted out the cut-scene stuttering now. I'm doing this:-
-GameTime.MaxSimFps 120 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 120
Setting them to 60 didn't seem to make a noticeable difference during the cut-scenes at the start, but with the above I'm seeing 65-80 fps and it's a lot smoother. There's still something odd going on, because it still isn't perfect; but it's a massive improvement.
I'm assuming the animations themselves are 30 fps.yeah cutscenes at 60 still are quite stuttery, but I think I prefer it like this. at least the transition from gameplay to cutscene isnt so jarring now
I had that issue - the catalyst drivers had gotten "stuck" at 14.4 (other drivers installed apparently cleanly, but the catalyst->information->software identified catalyst at 14.4). Uninstalling all the AMD stuff via the control panel->programs and reinstalling beta 14.11.1 finally fixed things for me.
AA or no AA?

I've noticed that some NPCs use 30FPS animations for some reason. For instance, a group of soldiers sparring will be moving around in 30FPS, while the rest of the game is running at 60. Jarring to say the least.
Any info if my HD 7850 and i5 2500 can handle this game at an acceptable Level (1080p)?
