You certainly have to admire their dedicated to making consistently serviceable movies. Yes, that was a backhanded compliment.
Coming from a James Bond superfan, this is pretty hilarious.

Now we can talk about the fear and loathing in the hearts of Warner Bros executives as Kevin Feige continues hanging brain over their feeble lineup.

Stop talking out off your ass. That'd be a start.Like what you want,I don't care, people also like Taylor swift and Britney spears and I don't lose sleep over it
I love that they don't seem to be ashamed of the source material
Just speaks to your intelligence if you're a fan of mindless marvel movies
Oh no! Sounds like someone's a little cranky!Like what you want,I don't care, people also like Taylor swift and Britney spears and I don't lose sleep over it
If you're just going to be disingenuous, why bother coming in this thread?I have, and yes it's better then Taxi Driver and There Will Be Blood, it was just so moving

When people call out your posts for being ostentatious it's probably not best to double down on it.Like what you want,I don't care, people also like Taylor swift and Britney spears and I don't lose sleep over it
ia guardians better than avengers ?

You don't think so? I use that descriptor, too. I mean it in a backhanded sort of way. Not sure how the other poster meant it.
ia guardians better than avengers ?
Eh, you know what? Life is too short to worry about how smart or dumb I may appear based on my movie watching habits. I'm having too much fun to care.
The movies are nothing special imo. Hollywood as fuck dumb popcorn movies. Fun, mildly enjoyable Hollywood as fuck dumb popcorn movies, but still Hollywood as fuck dumb popcorn movies.
Today?That high ground.
And why is Ken Masters squeezing the bitter berry today?

I appreciate Marvel for inspiring other studios to try world building with their franchises. It's a great time to be a sorta nerd.

I agree. I think it's great to give the under educated something to look forward to every year, to keep their minds occupied lest they consider more drastic actions to improve their station. Not unlike the bi-annual McRib re-release.
I know I'm super excited for Aquaman and Cyborg movies!Marvel is pretty average, and the best Marvel movies are not even made by Marvel.
"Feeble lineup"
Today?
Haha, today.
Maybe, but sometimes that's more than enough.
I'm 37 and when I was a kid I would have never have dreamed of a time when there were Marvel movies being made that had a connected continuity, legitimately great actors and faithfulness to the source material. I think it's hard for a lot of younger people to appreciate this. Living in the 80s-the concept of Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe would seem impossible, and now it's not only a reality but a highly successful one at that.
They're fine. They've made some great comic book movies (GoTG, Winter Soldier, IM1, Avengers) and some atrocious ones (Incredible Hulk, Thor, Thor 2, IM2.)
The Cinematic Universe conceit is cool and it works for their films. Although I'm not into the homogenization. All their movies have the same feel to them.
