ARROW Season 3 |OT| Welcome to the New Age

Next week is break, right?

Just for Arrow I believe. Flash had theirs on election night early this month.

Edit:

Cupid was the best kind of crazy. The team up/fight is set with Boomrang on the scene. Love Ray Palmer getting his Iron Man on.:) That's really the correct comparison right? Not Batman and Iron Man? Or could both be?

I still very much like this show, but it feels like so many of the eps are just filler.

Good filler, but filler.

Hong Kong still seems to lack a purpose

Actually felt like this episode furthered quite a few plot lines. Ollie's personal difficulties letting people in/showing emotion, Felicity and Ray's relationship growing, Ray's master plan coming more full circle, & the intro of 2 new villains. Also felt like it planted some nice seeds for potential future episodes.

Won't disagree with you on the Hong Kong stuff. It still hasn't hooked me yet. Needs more Waller & China White, since she's the reason for them in the first place.

The full course of the show will be coming in the second half of the season. (Ra's). Can't wait. Sometimes it's hard to forget that there are 23 episodes in a season. A lot can happen.

LOL I couldn't believe it, my mouth hung open when Ollie got radioactived. Welcome to the new age, Arrow.

On the Arrow/Flash teamup in 2 weeks, we will see Cisco kissing Diggle, with Walter watching and shedding a tear. RADIOACTIVE

I hope that DJ kid dies horribly, oh my god.

Other than that, great episode. CAPTAIN BOOMERANG!

Edit: Also I didn't know Ray Palmer was the Atom. Cool. Can't wait to see him in action.

I really enjoyed this episode, cupid was awesome.

edit: I think it's obvious that Katana and her husband were
League of Assassins agents at some point, and are now in hiding

Ray Palmer needs his own show, fuck it.

3 nights crossover event between The Atom, The Flash and Green Arrow, go all out CW.

Hah. I like how when Ray does the salmon ladder the camera doesn't focus on him.

Anything Felicity has me cringing. She serves literally no purpose other than to please the Tumblr fangirls.
I love watching Oliver break down for 45 minutes and act like pansy. I love it.

Is nomis still banned? :( We've missed out on much Radioactive already this season. And yes, I laughed when it happened. This is the only CW show where I don't roll my eyes at this CW (and WB before it) trope and it's all thanks to this fad.

Cupid was entertaining but I kind of wish she did wreck havoc at the club for Thea to take her ass out, the DJ dude is as douchey as my first impression of him from the casting announcement led me to believe. Someone needs to edit Roy watching them as Radioactive plays, obviously they thought it was too much considering it was happening to Oliver shortly thereafter. Didn't mind the flashbacks, I'm pretty sure the point was to reveal Tatsu was more than just Maseo's wife and a little more set up with what's to come there. Also nice set up for the crossover.

True and it was pretty damn noticeable just as the shipping shit has been. And yeah, Routh clearly wasn't ready for the salmon ladder. But I do love them teasing the annoying Olicty shippers into losing their shit.

Much better episode. This one kept me engaged from beginning to end. Even liked the Hong Kong material (as it humanized the wife).

It honestly is pretty hilarious that no one thought to try to triangulate his response times like that. Not that it would be realistically effective but it's certainly tv/plot effective enough. Ollie should be patrolling though, rather than chilling at the hideout waiting to be dispatched.

Cupid was an fun villain. I'd like to see her pop up every now and then rather than getting one or two eps and done like most of the other minor villains. Also, pretty sad to see Roy get taken out relatively easily. Dude clearly needs to step up his salmon ladder sessions.

the writers from last season to this season is like night and day.
from bad ass Thea to "whelp nothing going on with her. Let's give her another guy to fling with"
Flashback went nowhere. Point A to Point A

this episode is reminding of Smallville and why I stopped watching.

Holy shit Ashur. Spartacus cast almost complete. Gimme Ganicus next

Cupid is soooo cool! Could someone please gif that scene in the club where the camera pans up from her feet when she's at the bar? Those legs/toes... 😍

It's hard out here for an archer looking for love. Roy and Ollie both sick.

Yo, but did yall see my girl Katana go in tho? Cutting through bodies like paper.

This season sucks ass. I'll finish the rest of the episodes this year but if things don't improve drastically (more badass Thea, lots of Roy flips) after that then I'm out.

Ashur?!?

Man, I am LOVING this Spartacus love.
And Walking Dead is bringing The Wire love.

Glad the premium cable classic actors are getting more play.

Pretty good episode, but the whole Olicity thing is booooring. Oliver is a dick and he ruined his chance with our Goddess Felicity. Though it was nice to have Oliver experience a Radioactive moment when he caught Palmer and Felicity kissing.

Loved when Felicity saw Palmer on the ladder and she says, "I do have a type."

I've been waiting for Mr. Hong Kong's wife to do something and boy I was not disappointed. She got them tirades like nothing. She's the reason I even care for these flashbacks anymore.

Lol, so nobody was even slightly fazed by Queen Consolidated's name changing? I mean, that's your family name, Oliver, get it together. He was too shook over the girl he dumped finding a new man, smh.

Also, I like how Ray Palmer never did any actual salmon ladder climbs. Just a clever jump shot at the beginning and him just sort of hanging during the conversation. He's not one of the salmon ladder gang.
