Hopefully they kill of Thea soon. She's so baaaaad.

Thea will become Green Lantern and Diggle will finally snap from Oliver's craziness, becoming Mister Mxyzptlk.

I don't even know what this season is about at this point.

- Whats her name was killed by someone because of something.
- Ra's Al Ghoul is mad about something maybe.
- Malcolm Merlyn is back in Starling because Thea wanted to move back so she could re-open her nightclub? Or something.

Yea.

But hey, ASHUR!

It is a pretty difficult show to follow.

Yeah, they make so much more sense than anything.

Hell, I'd rather see Barry and Caitlin than Barry and Iris, cause that is just sad.

Lol..yeah..Barry and Caitlin have pretty great chemistry.

It's funny that in both DC shows CW somehow screwed up the casting of the main love interest and neither Iris and Laurel work with the lead.

But at least Iris isn't annoying the way Laurel was for two seasons.

The DJ guy made me so mad for some reason. Seriously why did they give that dude 2 minutes of screen time?

Love interest for Thea, Roy will obviously get jealous and try to win her heart. Usual CW relationship stuff, after awhile you can see it a mile away.

"Previously on Verdant..."

I didn't really give my thoughts on the episode last night, so here we are.

- Loved, loved, LOVED Cupid. She's so nutty and fun and sexy and fucking insane and terrifying. Great character, great actor to play her.

- LOLing hard at Diggle doing nothing but play relationship therapist for no goddamn reason whatsoever. That's just fucking hysterical. They really need to get Diggle to do other stuff.

- Thea's nothing storyline in this one sucked. Fuck that DJ dude. I'm gonna knock him the fuck out.

- Love that they're already calling Roy "Arsenal" and Carrie knocked him the fuck out so easily.

- I honestly find it hysterical that the first woman on Starling SWAT turned out to be a lovesick looney with a savior complex. I don't know if this is sexist or not but it's absolutely funny.

- I liked the flashbacks here. It's good to see Oliver finally ingratiating himself into the family, but this just means that this will end oh-so-poorly for those poor people. The katana scene was awesome.

- Seriously, fuck that DJ.

- Cupid on Suicide Squad, fucking yeah.

- Ray Palmer is great. Him and Felicity have so much more chemistry than Felicity and Oliver. I hope he sticks around, maybe even becomes a regular. Honestly, his storyline has gotten me the most interested... what the heck is he planning? Is he truly gonna be a hero, a villain, or an anti-hero? Will things backfire for him horribly?

Oh man, what if this is Arrow's ULTRON moment and Ray is Hank Pym.

The DJ guy made me so mad for some reason. Seriously why did they give that dude 2 minutes of screen time?

Cause they clearly wanted to drive an arrow in my heart.

That DJ subplot was amazing, only because I know DJ's who work at clubs and it was just funny watching him work and talk and when he plugged in his ipod lol I almost died.

I think they've set up some really cool stuff, and I hope it pays off, but the way they got there is frustrating.

Setting up a murder mystery? Awesome. Who Killed The Black Canary
Having a mysterious rival swoop in and steal Oliver's company who has mysterious and weird plans for Starling? Awesome.
Having Ra's al Ghul set his sights on Oliver and Starling? Awesome.
Building up to a crossover with The Flash? Awesome.
Laurel trying to rebuild herself from the ground up, eventually becoming the Black Canary? Honestly, awesome.
Malcolm Merlyn returning to Starling with who knows what planned? Awesome.

But some of the story choices to get there are frustrating.

I didn't post my thoughts either! So here goes.

First off, there's not nearly enough this in the thread right now...

There, that's better. Anyway~

-The Hong Kong story this week was actually semi-interesting.
-Cupid was a lot better than I thought she'd be.
-I loved seeing John trying to play mediator, as it shows how much he cares for Ollie and Felicity.
-That being said, please give him more to do.
-That being said, be looked sexy as hell in that tight grey shirt!
-On the flip side of the wardrobe situation, Felicity's blue dress that everyone fawned over was not that nice, and I HATED her up-do mullet during dinner. Why are they styling her so poorly this season?
-But I liked pretty much everything else about her this episode. She is totally in the right about what she said to John about Ollie. I think her and Ray are really cute together.
-As for Ray, I feel like he should keep doing more salmon ladders and perhaps stop wearing shirts altogether.
-Arsenal is dumb. He sucks at everything and should go to jail post-haste.
-The DJ was a douchebag and I wish Thea would of clawed his eyes out. Way to make her look super lame after trying to build her up finally. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to that whole storyline.
-Asher looks cool. I kinda like this whole tease the next villain at the end thing, but I hope this is parlaying into a main story arc.

All in all, I liked it! Probably one of the best episodes of the season so far.

super late response, but i believe the answer you are looking for is the Glau Effect.

I honestly forgot her character even existed. Did she die? I don't even remember. Having her a corporate foil was more interesting than her being Slade's right hand woman.

Of course. What is a woman without a man to fawn over? Felicity with Ray Palmer/Barry Allen/Oliver Queen (fuck off Oliver), Thea with DJ Douche, Laurel with wannabe Wildcat, Roy with Oliver, etc.

I feel a bit of a let down without the flip. Where is my weekly flip Roy?
It'll end up turning into an emotional flip. That's how we'll get an asshole version of Arsenal who isn't a light weight.

Oh god, press one button and suddenly the lights start going nuts and everyone goes "FUCK YEAAHHHH THIS IS MAH JAAAAAM!" Fucking hilarious.

lmao

They made a reference to calling her Mia in Corto Maltese. Mia Deardren is the female Speedy in the comics. Plus considering that's been her nickname for so long...
Now I am really sad.
Does that also mean she and Flipper aren't OTP?

Maybe it's the Music Meister :D

That was the best part. Like people didn't even need a second or two to go "ok this is better!" they just IMMEDIATELY went into "PARTY ON BROOOOO" mode

I mean... they could be? No actual reason to believe they'd use the Cheshire/Artemis/Sportsmaster dynamic from Young Justice. The showrunners could do whatever they want. Hell, they made up Sara Lance out of thin-air.
