This is my problem. I go after the rewards, but the lack of a restart button makes me give up on it.

Impressions so far are very positive towards the Pro Controller (Haven't tested myself cuz getting the game till tomorrow) AND you can customize the buttons as you like

This lack of restart button is a really stupid oversight, are you kidding me?
I used the Classic Controller for Brawl and that worked out fairly well, and it's pretty similar in control scheme to the Gamepad, which is why I didn't think that was it. Don't have the CC on me anymore though unfortunately

I've asked a couple times in this thread with no answer, but it seems that you can't use the 3DS as a controller for online matches with a partner either. (Two player local online)

I just played a match online and there was very little lag. It was there but it was much better than a match I had when I first started up the game. I ordered the lan adapter to reduce it.
Also, the games graphic seriously are impressive. I play Project M on my PC and that runs at 60fps on higher resolutions and it doesn't look better than this. The new coat of paint>>>>>>>>>>downsampled old graphics.

Have any EU people managed to get the game early? I was gonna call my gamestop to see if there's at least some wiggle room with the game already released in the americas.
Also, is there some sort of software that randomly generates tournaments, either 1v1 or 2v2? would be useful for those nights with friends over.

My input lag is pretty bad. Its definitely latency. I wonder if its because im connecting to mostly east coast people and I'm on the west.

Did you view their profile following a match? Pretty sure you can send a friend request to the person.

For those not in the know, the first Conquest is up, and it's "Omega Ruby" (Charizard/Pikachu) versus "Alpha Sapphire" (Greninja/Lucario) which is just... just fantastic.

Whatever you think you'll feel most comfortable with. If you like the GCN controller for Smash games, then do it.

Well the Gamecube controllers will only be useful for this one game. While I prefer it for Smash still, the Pro hasn't deterred my enjoyment or ability to play at all, and I also get the bonus of it being an awesome controller for the vast majority of my gaming library.

First thing I did when I got home from Gamestop was register this bitch so I could get that sweet OST. CN said because of the holidays there might be a delay. Bullshit, only thing you motherfuckers be sending out nowadays are digital codes!
I imagine that the majority of my Wii U playtime will be with Smash. I never really liked the GC controller all that much tbh, I like the fact that the Pro controller has a proper diamond config, wireless and lasts 80 hours on a charge. I only wish that the face buttons were in the primary position.

I had minimal trouble online. Playing with a friend, there was some lag in one match. No trouble at all on "For Fun."
I fucking hate the items in these games though so probably will keep my head down until i build some confidence for "For Glory." Skipped the 3DS version so there's some catching up to do.
