Wii U's Classic Mode at 9 intensity seems way harder than the 3DS's version.

Anyone mess around in Stage Creator yet?
I've made 2 stages, struggled with the gamepad and how finnicky it is. I wish you could pick up and move platforms you create.. Add and subtract.
I mean I wish it had at least the basic functionality of any image editing program's 'select' tool.

So I've never played a Smash before, can someone tell me why exactly you would want a gamecube controller over a pro controller? I'm debating ordering one or not (haven't picked up the game yet). I love the pro controller and can't really see what benefit a gamecube controller would be. I don't care about competitive play outside of playing with some friends for fun.

If the controller doesn't speak to you, you're probably fine with pro. GCN controllers were nearly made with Smash in mind, though.

One of my last favourite parts about brawl were the moving stages (delphino place etc).
Don't know what they did but they're a lot less disorienting and annoying in this game

Playing this after playing the 3DS version for nearly two months is absolutely revelatory. Everything looks so much better and it isn't being controlled by a circle pad. Just lovely.

Just came back from the store and I'm crying. Amiibo figures are amazing! Watching them in photos or videos just doesn't do justice compared to how cool they look in person. Very detailed, even Link, Marth and Peach looked excellent! Unfortunately I just bought one cause not enough money but god damnit now I want to buy them all!

I honestly am tired of the over done amount of moving stages. The new stages are overall really good though. Too bad Classic has gotten worse and All-Star is the exact same as 3DS.
I would give it an 8/10 so far. Wish Pac-Land unlock was less annoying.

I guess this is what I want some more info on. What is it specifically that people like about it? Is it just because of the button layout? Just what people are used to? The fact that there is a special adapter just for this game makes me think it would make a big difference and I think the gamecube controller is fine but I don't see what it really adds here.
