Remember when we used to speculate about the plot and spend days talking about where it would go because it was so interesting and had so much promise?

MGS4 is a fine game, not as good as the other three, but it's great compared to other games. Of course I think it focused far too much on trying to wrap up its story and punish people who liked snake by making him old and not actually tell a proper story.

But that what happens when you set up such a long saga, you got to explain some things. Like Vamp, and Shadow Moses.

But yeah, it's a great game in its own right even if it's not as good as MGS3.

But most games aren't better than MGS 3.
 
I've officially had it with Nick.com's video player this week. Their video player has always given me problems - lots of stops, stutters and image quality drops despite giving it ample time to buffer - but this week I had major problems. Multiple complete loses of video requiring me to reload the page, combined with the video player's downright refusal to scrub the playback back to where I left off meant I missed the entirety of the Korra/Asami scene and the last half of the Bolin/Varrick one because their video player simply would not work.

What are the other options for getting Korra episodes? I don't care if I have to pay per episode, as long as I can enjoy the final episodes issue free. Are any of the other options full downloads so I don't have to worry any about poor video streaming?

We started with such high hopes this season after Book 3 but as the book has progressed it's been very slow going pace and plot wise
The episodes themselves are still pretty good, it's just a lot of the time they don't really give us much to talk about hence Korragaf descends into madness in the wait time between episodes

Nick is the only free option at the moment but you can buy it from these places. Plus with both Itunes and Amazon the episodes are usually up at 3am EST so hours before they pop up on Nick. Itunes has been the most consistent at the moment in putting the episodes up first.


and I'm pretty certain the episodes are available on PSN and Xbox Live also.
For the best video quality Itunes would be the option you'd go with and it also lets you download the episode.

When are we getting gay relationships in kids TV? 5, 10 years? When will that be a thing?

Like, did they not have interracial relationships in cartoons either?

In the meantime, it's perfectly ok for ladies to fullmouth hedgehogs as long as they're dudes

Just came in to say episode was garbage and Varrick's segment was the only redeeming factor.

Also Makorra is gonna be canon guys.
 
Just watched the latest episode. Well a little boring, but somehow okay for a clip-show- episode. At least Varrik was funny again. But it's really a shame, that they had to do this.


Back to MGS4, I always remember that I finished Mantis at 1am thinking "Well you have to go get up in the morning, but this is the ending, it can't take very long now" ....
I think I don't have to say that I was quite sleepy at the lectures next day.

If you read up on the reason you'll become more understanding of why they did it. Plus, the last five minutes were pretty funny.

Sorry for not posting the past couple of days. I've been trying to beat Dragon Age Inquisition. I've already put 70 hours into it (yikes). But I want to beat it, so I can like you know...start Far Cry 4 and GTA V that's sitting on my PS4. lol

And then there is Smash, which is glorious. And I want to play that. It's just, I want to beat Inquisition first (should be beating it soon). With the clips episode + my goal to beat it, I haven't been posting as much on GAF this week. But should return to normal soon. And to those that want to play with my in some games (I know I need to play with some of Korra GAF on GTA V and Far Cry 4....SOON).

Hey Tak, I made you an Xmas Avatar. I had the original source, so I could move the picture down so the Christmas hat would fit in the frame. It's a little smaller then ur current avatar (because it has to fit the hat within frame). But it looks good I think.

Someone put some holiday cheer on my avatar. Toph is only going to be around until the 11th, might as well make the most of it.

Yeahhhhh. I just moved it slightly but I also just decided to give him a version without it (it might look better without. I just figured it would be funny little add on. But it's hard to get it 100% right):

EDIT: The new edit looks a bit better. I like the symbol on the hat now, I think that it's moved to the right. I think? lol Either way, I think this overall looks better then what he had (since my original avatar I gave him had no space for a hat to fit in the frame).
