More Arc Systems Work games coming to PC soon?

So a few days ago Arc Systems Works posted on their Facebook about Blaze Blue and then ended with this.

I did hear Kiss was sharing sales data with Arc Systems Works despite not really having to and there has been recent demand for Arc Sys fighting games on Steam so we might be seeing Arc Systems finally starting to get serious about bringing their new titles to PC.

We've known about that tweet for a while now.
I can see Xrd releasing in 2015 (I've tweeted them a couple of times asking if Xrd on Steam would be possible), and AKSYS are planning on releasing Mind Zero on Steam too.

Honestly if I get Xrd, AC+R and GG2, I'll be satisfied, but that's just me =3

I think it would be a very smart move by Arc Sys to do a Spring 2015 for Xrd on Steam. I mean it is already running on PCs at arcades and on Unreal, so shouldn't be too hard even for a small company like them.

IMO Arc don't want to damage their console release of Xrd, so prob. if it is coming to Steam, we'll see it in Spring 2015 at the earliest. Not that that'll stop me from triple/double dipping :V

Yeah that's what I am thinking too, they are hearing enough asks for the games on PC but the console release is right around the corner so they probably want to wait until Spring. Which will also be good because it is far less crowded in Spring that it is right now.

I just hope it's not the case of there being a newer revision out like it has been for the case of every Blazblue ported to PC.

We are not going to get a revision of Xrd for awhile. Now if they do a PC release it would be a good excuse to do some DLC characters maybe?

They'll probably keep up the tradition of porting a few years old games after a sequel (or two) have hit arcade/console. Considering they're still doing it (blazblu) they've clearly not given up yet, but I also see no reason to believe they'll accelerate their releases since they still made sure to port an ancient version.

Be cool if the PS4 version of Xrd meant speedier ports but uh, most of my PC centric current gen wishes have been pretty dashed so far. We've been getting lots of PC ports...of PS3 games from Japan, but not much for PS4 yet, and quality of ports (from certain pubs) have been...lacking.

yeeaaaa. that's been my main issue with japanese ports. While i am appreciative of them and wish they come at a faster pace, the quality of them have been poor or sub-par.

So far S-E's Final Fantasy releases are the weakest one. Valk. Chronicles 1 port was well received and SEGA have been releasing patches in case any odd issues pop up.

Furthermore we're getting Way of the Samurai 4 which is a game I am really glad it is getting a Steam release since that means I can finally play and finish it. The screen tearing did nothing good for my experience with it on PS3 @_@

Finally, Killer is Dead can be set to run at 60 FPS along with a few other neat alterations like removing life bars, etc. and all that can be done within a few minutes.

So all in all the release of Japanese games on Steam is fine IMO, even if it is an old game that would go for like $20.
Baby Steps, but ones going in the right direction.

It's a good thing the BlazBlue games play different, definitely picking that up. AC+R would be awesome, I dread booting up the PS3 just for fighting games and the load times compared to PS3 are awesome too.

What people fail to realize is that 4 ASW games have been released this year. 2 of them being BlazBlue games. I'm pretty sure we're going to see current iterations for their fighters on PC soon enough. I for one would rather them take the time to prep BBCP 2.0 for PC and consoles than worry about bringing the old version of CP to the platform. I feel like that's exactly what they're doing.

As for Xrd, I'm going to say we won't get a release until after the Arcade gets it's upgrade with all the console characters and whatever updates it gets. I could be wrong and we could see something as soon as 2 or 3 months after Leo gets released for DLC.

I saw those tweets as well, OP. Now we wait and see.

I hope they're not using BBCSE as a metric for anything, because I'm not going to buy an outdated port of a mediocre version of the series.

It'd be nice if UNIEL came to PC seeing as how they helped with the console port.
I doubt it'll ever happen though

Actually the devs are considering a PC release of Under Night, but are atm focusing on the PS3 release. I've even tweeted them about it.
For that matter...wasn't UNIEL releasing in the US by late December?

Delayed to March to prevent clashing with Xrd.

This makes me so happy. I don't want to have to pay for live and haven't for a long time, but it also means I can't play games I genuinly love playing with my friends because of it right now.

Bring all the fighters Arc! \o/
