Can you imagine how much Nintendo made off that day? Pokemon, Smash, and amiibos?

Thought it was Kasumi instead of Chris.

98UM had a lot more variety- prob the most variety of any KOF game once you got past Krauser, and Steam version has the Krauser nerfs (which nerf him down to upper-mid) Only KOFXIII came close in variety, and that variety declined as the game matured (which often does happen as a game ages)

As much as I complain about XIII and how it strayed form what I liked about KOF, it was one of SNK's better balancing efforts, though the DLC hurt it some.

Chris has a dive kick infinite.

Fightcade needs a lot more players for it to be a solid platform vs ggpo.

The one thing they have going for it is that they have way more games available.

Maximilian was streaming some XMEN VS SF matches on FightCade and the population has grown quite a bit, there's always some down time when the authro releases a new version though.

Why is Mario so much better than Dr. Mario?
Why is Link so much better than Toon Link?

Also, how do you grab Diddy Kong's banana mid air?

I usually toss the banana, jump backwards and forward air or back air (really just pressing A works, but I usually throw out one of those moves). Air dodging also works to grab it.

If only they could add Naomi games FIghtcade :(

That's not the point, mahvel will always be his game. He said in that conversation that he wasn't touching any game not named Ultra SF4 because he was preparing for Capcom Cup. Then winners/grand finals happened. Granted, they are winners/grand finals and he made it there but it was worrying watching his Rufus getting dismantled (and then choosing poison...) in a matchup he calls almost even but in rufus' favor. Hopefully he'll do better in Capcom Cup.

Haha, Rufus Ken is probably 6-4 Ken at best. Chris plays Brentt a ton, and Brentt is probably 3rd best Rufus in the US (imo). Justin doesn't get to play a Ken of that level consistently so eventually he's gonna lose, especially when he knows the matchup so well.

I think Justin should still do good at Capcom Cup. He was looking strong against Daigo, and that match sucks too. We'll see though.

Nope, it's 5-5. One of the better shoto matchups.

Probably a question for a Arcade stick thread but its a 1 off question with a thread that moves much faster. Do places usually have Black Friday sales on sticks?

Here is the list Big E put out for the most entrants for NEC right now.

Ultra
Uniel
Umvc3
Kof13
Inj
P4u2
GG, Mk9 tied
BB
KI3, Scv tied
AHLM

UNIEL doing well at NEC shouldn't be a huge surprise (that tournament has always been big for anime games), but seeing it out-drawing UMvC3 is funny. UMvC3 confirmed deader than dead!!! And knowing how NEC per-registration goes, they'll probably have 4363634 late regs for that game and ugh. (And where the heck is Tekken? Or is it below AH3:LM, which would be extra lulz.)

But someone told me preordering was for suckers. Argh.
Well, it is in my case when the place you pre-order screws up and manages to "lose" the pre-order. -_-;;

Chris and Integra both say he wins, as do Brentt. Ricky told me herself last week that Ken wins it haha.

Hmmmmm. I'd definitely like to hear Ricky's reasoning.

To me, sure Ken has good walkspeed and normals, but he just doesn't scare that much. You apply pressure and footsies and watch out for step kicks and kara throws. :\

Then again, I'm the madman who uses U2 vs many of the fireball-users in the cast.

Yeah I was about to say. Isn't the MvC3 community notorious for late registrations

Like it's proven to be a tactical advantage for certain players in that game lol

Surprised GG doesn't have more pre-regs

where's that Xrd hype???

it will they announced it on twitter.

Actually, the demo only has the English dubs included.

Don't panic, the Japanese voices will be in the retail version of the game.

...Got shot down on the barnyard friends track, though. Those glorious pig noises for Sol... (T_T)

YES!

I'm really wondering if any of the Overture folk are reprising their roles.

Working all day tomorrow is going to suck. :/
