Not gaming related but I hope those Bowers and Wilkins P3 headphones are a decent price. Nearly bought some of those at full whack a few months ago.

We will see a Wii U here this week, right?

PS3 owners moved on very quickly to PS4, and the 360 sold a lot more in the UK.
 
Pretty weak deals on both Amazon.de and .co.uk , at least for now. :/
I'm hoping for something juicy on Friday and Monday.

Oh FFS I forgot it's that crazy time of year again. I'm going to be frantically refreshing Amazon's and other etailers pages for stuff I don't even need or possibly want but compelled by silly pricing.

I'm interested that Amazon are doing the deals-every-ten-minutes thing from the start. Previously, on the first couple of days it was only every half-hour, then when they had overstock to put up again those would fit in the ten minute gaps. This time around, they're starting with deals up more frequently.
 
I see that Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be on sale on Amazon.co.uk on PS4, Xbox One, and PC at 19:30. It'll be interesting to see how much they shave off those.
 
Does that £200 Wii U actually come with Super Mario 3D World? It has a picture of the game next to it but it does not mention it anywhere in the item description. It actually just talks about New Super Mario Bros. U. I'd probably buy it if I could be assured of 3D world.

You could always order it, take some screenshots of the page and when 3D World doesn't show up, complain and you might get a free game out of it!

Picked it up on PC for £15 in that deal - activates on Steam, comes with five DVDs! Xbone version was £23 or something and went immediately. Wasn't going to buy this game, but I've heard great things about it and I'm ssuuurreee I'll get around to playing it :\

I wasn't going to post it here, but I though I'd do it because I actually made this post to rant a bit and I thought the code could go in this post.

Been unlucky with a few pre-orders in a very short time now. Zavvi fucked up my Tales of Xillia 2 pre-order so I cancelled it and bought from rice digital instead. I had to pay a few pounds more, but I finally managed to get the Day One edition.

Decided to cancel all pre-orders I had with zavvi out of frustration. Cancelled Tales of Hearts R and wnet with WOW HD and now they fucked up my Tales of Hearts R order. Pre-ordered in August and now it says that I'll be lucky if I get the game shipped in 7-10 days. I have a feeling the pre-order will be cancelled or I will get a version without the pre-order costumes. I'm going to keep my order with WOW HD mainly because of the price.

Dragon Age: Inquisition releases this Friday, let's see if they mess up the shipping of that one.

All I want to do is play Tales on a handheld.

Both ToH R and Dragon Age: Inquistion shipped today, actually.

I've ordered from them before but never has any of their stuff gone out of stock on pre-orders before (for me). Price was good on both games, so I will not complain, I guess.They did send apologetic mails, that's how I knew they were actually out of stock (that and the fact that it said "in queue" on my order page). In Queue means that they don't have the stuff in stock.

Will probably take around 7 working days for the stuff to arrive from past experiences with them.

Well, as I wrote before: the same happened to me with Fantasy Life. So I wasn´t surprised to read your story. Must be some new policy of them not to order preordered games at their suppliers. :-) Or maybe they had a lot of preorder cancellations in the past, and don´t want to risk getting stuck with loads of unsold copies anymore?

Anyway, I just take this into account from now on when ordering from them.

wow the latter one is simply the best offer in ages. mario kart and mario world are worth at least 60pounds. this is insane. i bought my wii u at launch, sold it and bought one again when it cost 180€ at amazon.it at the beginning of this year.

Someone from HotUKDeals mentioned talking to Amazon support and they said they don't know when it's going to be made available. It has to be before Christmas, surely?

Put an order in for this thanks, not fussed about release date.

Can I please ask those who know though, if I wish to play Monster Hunter (both 3 and 4), will I need a Pro controller, or is the main screen controller thing good enough? In fact could I use my Wii Classic Controller Pro somehow?

The gamepad is fine, really. You can even put some UI elements on its screen to declutter the main one and make it a bit more cinematic.
Also, the gamepad serves as a microphone and speaker for voice chat and a handy keyboard for text chat.

MH4 is not announced for Wii U. Wii CC Pro is compatible with MH3U.

GamePad is completely fine for all games, hence why it's the default controller for the system^^

I wonder where I got 4 coming out on the Wii U from, maybe I assumed they would after they brought 3 over. Wondering whether I should keep the preorder now... hmmm, decisions decisions...
