I knew. Bloodborne in March, DS2 in April. That's what I mean. I will probably sit on Bloodborne for quite a while.
But you said a month. Bloodborne won't even be out for two weeks when this drops!

You mean the optional boss that is made specially difficult for people who want to kill everything.
Also, it is crazy to complain if your one build doesn't work for everything the game has to throw at you.

Monster Hunter director couldn't resist putting in a Monster Hunter boss.
As much as I love From Soft, I just can't justify buying a console for one game.
No one cares about this.

Or the random fire breathing statues in Iron Keep. And floating platforms over lava. Like it was modeled after Bowser's Castle.
Just a bunch of shit thrown in to keep the gameplay challenging, with little thought as to whether they made sense.
Called it when we first saw the "downgrade". Game was never really intended for last gen specs.
In fact, I'm pretty sure I remember them saying at one stage before the game shipped that they were 'building it for next generation systems'. Will try and find the exact quote but it was something along those lines.
I really hope we see the original lighting engine. Still, with no mention of it, my hopes are not high.
Someone never played Sen's fortress, aka the place with random guillotines and catwalks and falling giant balls because ?????
I'm so glad you mentioned it is an optional boss. So is Kalameet. Most Dark Souls fans would say he's one of the best designed bosses in the game, that's how an optional boss should be done. He was difficult (I died at least 4 times before defeating him) but extremely fair.
Now compare that to the Ancient Dragon, it's worlds apart. He has only 3-4 attacks with one being the most unfair of them all. I had to completely change my build just so I could escape the fire that would cover 2/3 of the arena (which was bland as fuck). It was impossible to do it heavy and considering the fire instant-killed me, I had to change my build. I've never had to do that in a Souls game ever until that point. It's absolutely embarrassing boss design.
Kalameet is how a dragon boss should be done. With plenty of different attacks that are well telegraphed and that never instant-kill you. He was extremely aggressive, constantly keeping you on your toes without ever being unfair.
Considering they also included the Darklurker as an optional boss in DS2, any claim that an optional boss has the right to be ridiculously unfair with immense amounts of bullshit is silly.
Its weird they are releasing after Bloodborne...One would think they'd go before to capitalize on the hype...

which is why 90% of the best Demon's/Dark1 challenge runners hate DkS2.
My farthest character in Dark Souls 2 just finished Drangleic Castle & I don't have much motivation to keep going. For as much complaining as Dark Souls 1 got over the endgame content, it feels like there's far more filler level & enemy design in Dark Souls 2.
Hey Stark, winner of Demon's tourney's, come PvP me best 8 out of 10.
I'm calling it, you'll duck my challenge a 4th time. The fifth time, we'll just call it "Stark's Royal Flush". lol
But anyway, I actually mained the Large Sword of Searching in Demon's PvP, and used my Blueblood build. :\
You're like the "Alice" on Steam, but on GAF discussing Souls games, and ducking challenges!
What short cuts? I can only think of the one at the beginning of the game.
I don't like that boss, but it's optional. I liked Bed of Chaos even less, and it's mandatory. Oh noes Dark Souls worst game ever confirmed. You also conveniently don't mention the diabolical boss the shrine leads to.
The what? The Gutter was awful. Did they ever patch out the product placement there, per chance?

Otherwise you are full of shit.
People complain about DS1's endgame, but really, even Lost Izalith is on par with most of DS2's levels (as in they're all miserable). Duke's is an awesome place and the Tomb only pales in comparison to the rest of DS1.
The what?
Uuuuhhh, go ask them?
Exclusively in the DX11 version.Buy Mountain Dew.
The what?
The gutter contains product placement. Specifically, it contains art assets for Heineken beer. Either this was a hidden ploy, or more than likely it was leftover placeholder data that they simply forgot to replace.
I am going through Demon´s Souls, still early but loving it! Why not package DS1 and 2? And some believe DS2 was lackluster compared to the first 2 entries.
Hahaha holy shit...
I would call this harassment, if it weren't so fucking pathetically hilarious.
So you are just pulling numbers out of your ass. Got ya.
Their YT PM boxes are there for a reason, bro.

Great to see the Kalameet love, also was great at how balanced and "challenging but fair" he was at the same time as actually feeling like you're fighting a fucking Dragon! Contrasted with Ancient Dragon who's just a big clunky idiot mess of a boss with nothing but stomps and a insta-kill fire attack... :\
Remembering the good ole day's! By the by, this particular type of extreme challenge IS NOT possible in DkS2, which is why 90% of the best Demon's/Dark1 challenge runners hate DkS2. The technicality in the tight controls and 100% consistent rolls/i-frames just isn't there anymore, especially at base-SL.
Hahaha holy shit...
- Several in the Forest of Giants
- Skeleton cave in Huntsman
- Tree trunk in Huntsman (nice when looting the secret area below the Chariot bridge)
- Ladder/switch area before Old Iron King
- Door/switch near Lucatiel's sign in No Man's Wharf
- Too many to count in the Bastille
- Undead Crypt lever
- Ladder and zipline in Dragon Aerie (nice for farming the lizards)
- and the DLCs have too many to list.
Plus hidden bonfires that serve as shortcuts, such as in Drangleic, Aldia's Keep, etc.
If you only found one in the whole game... then perhaps you should explore more instead of dismissing the exploration of the game.

I quoted you in a discussion about Dark Souls II's gameplay. What this has to do with Demon's Souls PvP pissing contests is beyond me.No, not harassment, you quoted me first remember.
Do you really think no one will see through your blatant lies? In the other thread you made claims that only scrubs, sorry, non-ultra-hardcore players like Dark Souls II, which I denied. Beat my chest? Fucking wow, could you be more disingenuous? And again, you beat your chest saying you've won Demon's Tourney's,
I couldn't care less about your puerile "challenges". I have nothing to prove to anyone, lest of all to you.I mean, who knows, you might kick my ass, but your too much of a keyboard warrior to actually come and give it a shot. So, call whatever you want and laugh all you want, because in the end it's you who's ducking the challenge.
But then he couldn't crow triumphantly about how I'm "ducking" stuff... and things...Speaking of PM's being there for a reason, why don't you move your Demon's Souls challenges to PM's.
