Seems made in the same engine as NnK, so it started as a PS3 project? A PS4 game would surely be a megaton in its own way.

My search in google says you're right, however I could swear I saw a thread here in GAF that says Tekken 7 is confirmed for PS4/XB1.

They tried to develop a new Jak and Daxter before The Last of Us. If we're going with the "they make what the public wants", then that shows the clear interest right there. TLOU resulted out of them not knowing how to make a serious and "realistic Jak game." (Their words.)
It's a little of both. They tried making what people wanted, and then they made what THEY wanted.

My guess is that originally, Yokai Watch may have been targeting higher end machines (aka PS3), but Level 5 changed their minds and moved to 3DS. Given how popular Yokai Watch has turned out to be, no doubt Hino will want to milk it for all its worth.
A PS4 game would be a good way of establishing the franchise on home consoles. I think it's been made pretty clear that Level 5 is working on something for PS4 (Wonderflick need not apply). Whether it's Yokai Watch, Ni no Kuni 2 or a new IP remains to be seen though.

Errr you do know Ninja Theory are currently working on Hellblade and nothing about them suits platforming, especially Crash

word. well, the truth is that tekken 7 probably will end up being as multiplatform as possible, meaning Ps4, Xbone, and PC. Although it'd be a pleasant surprise to hear it exclusive to Ps4.
I still get bitter whenever I hear about tekken on xbox. Nothing to do but deal with it though.

It's pretty funny how people keep jumping from nonexistent with no hints of being made game to the next. You'll be less disappointed if you just speculated on the available information. Even if that unknown game from X developer isn't at the event, as least you know it exists.
I'll gather up all of that information soon and the likelihood of the developer's new game being revealed based on the suggested development time and recent comments (if there are any).

Agreed. I hope beyond hope they adopt the Project Cars model of having full access straight away to all the content. I swear if I have to do another Clubman cup or whatever in the worst of the worst possible of cars I will... be rather mad. Does anyone these days relish starting a Gran Turismo campaign knowing the slog that's needed just to consider buying the cars you actually want to experience? It's archaic now. GT should be a great racing game and car history sim. Give us everything, tracks and cars, give us Yamauchi's insane details and esoteric car choices, but please don't make me drive Toyota Yaris against my will ever agin (or Licence Tests!).
I imagine it will look stunning I just want the foundation to be solid. If they can replicate Driveclub's fantastic loading times throughout the game I'll be ecstatic.
Maybe Mr. Nimoy will turn up at PSX riding on top of a giant flying cat to announce.....drum roll...Knack 2.
