I did it a few hours ago hoping it will allow me to nab FC4 for £24. Just bought the season pass from Game.co.uk and they emailed me the code straight away. Redeemed it on PSN and that went through fine so now just have to wait and see. Not sure if it will work for me as I have never played Unity so it won't be in my game history or anything but if I need too I will pick up a cheap used copy.
 
Do ShopTo not deliver the day before release any more? My copy of Smash has literally only just been dispatched and I got Smash 3DS on the day of release too.

Anybody else typically deliver day before release?
 
So GAME are announcing some deals for tomorrow from 6pm today. Also seems they are opening stores at midnight so I have to assume they have some crazy deals going down!

shopto have gone down the shitter recently. Used to use them all the time but their prices have gone terrible and games arent as fast to get here.

No, here a hint as to why the stores are opening then:
Pokemon ORAS £40
SSB Wii U £50
LBP 3 £60
etc...
So you see it is not because we've suddenly turned American but because games are coming out.

ah, didn't realise so many games were out tonight. The email I had did say they were opening at midnight and early openings for Black Friday deals.

Just got my dispatch confirmation too, though they got Smash 3DS to me a day early. Oh well.
 
For UK folks considering the Game blackfriday midnight opening, just been to the two games in Manchester arndale and have some things to report:

1. One of the staff indicated that there may be a deal on the Driveclub ps4 bundle as they have been recieving a lot of them over the last few days. She suggested that in order for it to be a good deal (in comparison with the GTA/TLOU bundle) it would have to be sub £300.

2. Stacks of the evil within, shadow of mordor and sunset overdrive behind the tills,
suggesting that they will be on offer (£19.99 for shadow of mordor and evil within maybe).

3. Also stated that the deals will be one per customer so people cannot buy the game then trade it in immediately.

That was the only reason I ever pre-ordered things from ShopTo, they usually got it to me a day early. They screwed me over with Smash Bros on the Wii U so I think I will be looking elsewhere. I've read Gameseek ship out things early so I tried pre-ordering Smash with them, hopefully it works out (it ended up being cheaper too).

Just ordered a replacement PS4 from Rakuten via shopto after mine started playing up, got full refund from John Lewis £385

Is Evil Within good? I think I'd jump on a sub £20 Sunset Overdrive or EW. Are they not revealing deals until midnight?

Mind you, I wouldn't mind DriveClub and the console for £300 either... I'd probably get Mordor for that price too.

Mine dispatched yesterday. Checked the website and it says "Completed" but no parcel yet.

There is also a £10 off £40 spend code for new accounts too, BUT I didn't want to risk using a code that wasn't approved via TCB and them not pay out the cashback as that was worth more.

Where can I find this code? and also send me referral link for TCB def want to help you out for this! Also never used TCB before, how does it work and how long does it take? Whats this thing about them not accepting certain codes?

Just noticed that game.net is also selling the PC download key for Dishonored for £2.49.

If you don't buy this game at this price, you will never buy this game.

Have sent you a PM with the details, the code (SPEND40) isn't in the list of 'approved' codes on their page and in the T&C it states that

'Please note that the use of a Rakuten.co.uk promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback, may affect your eligibility for cashback.'

So didn't want to risk the £25 cash back for the sake of £10 off.

I was very disappointed when, two years ago, Mists of Pandaria didn't arrive until the day of release (generally you'll want to at least attempt to play an expansion on the midnight it opens!). However, they came through to me this year with getting Warlords of Draenor to me, as desired, the day before release again.

I guess it's simply variable.
