Spent the last week watching all episodes of Arrow because I'd completely ignored it before.
Holy shit this is better than anything similar I've seen on TV before. I cringed when I first saw Barrowman in this but it only took a couple of episodes to warm up to him. Fucking loved Slade too, hope we haven't seen the last of him.

You're crazy. It was awesome. One of best Merlyn scenes.
Roy still makes mistakes like shooting up the rocket launcher or getting beat up by Cupid.

I think Roy is actually pretty damn good in this season. No melodrama, even with his dreams he knew better than to try hiding it. And in the field he's competent enough to be believable, while still not good enough to avoid doing hilarious screw ups. I honestly can't find much wrong this season with Roy

I like the scene the scene where Malcom snaps at Tommy and he flinched, lol not even Colin Donnell saw that coming. He was geniunely scared of the Borrowman.

You didn't miss a thing. No new ep this week as it was the day before Thanksgiving. Next week will be the two parter, starting Tuesday on The Flash and then Arrow on Wednesday I believe.

While I appreciate that they're going to show Laurel as quite green and not an instant badass, the way they've treated her so far makes me think "rougher and more realistic" means "she's gonna take L's." Which means more groaning about her character.
As for Dig, I've been trying to think of a superhero they could graft onto him. Best I could do is Gangbuster. At the very least, they could have Lyla hook him up with a special ARGUS suit or something.

I can only assume. Same with Thea really, she's had a few scenes of badass and DJ Asshat. I really hope the show has that big midseason shakeup.

Some of us still enjoy the season and have faith it will turn around even though s3 hasn't started out as strong as previous seasons(although these cliffhangers have been fun)

I think it's still stronger than S1. S2 had the advantage or already having a lot of set up done from S1. S3 bassicaly started from scratch. I have faith in the showrunners. Once the set up the domino pieces Oliver's life is sure to start to crumble spectacularly

If every time Laurel put on the Black Canary suit, she like, became alive. Had fun. Was more charming. Sarcastic. Hilarious. The second she puts on the outfit, she's the Black Canary, not dour Laurel.
That'd be cool. Certainly an inverse of Arrow, where Ollie in the first two seasons had to put on a figurative mask when he was out of costume and he was his real self in the suit.
