Yeah; makes sense. I wouldn't mind seeing a new fighting game from Sony/Capcom, but as a new IP and with characters from both publishers making an appearance.

It's aimed at that audience, but you can't go "only Sony fans allowed" as though this were some secret treehouse club.
Considering they're just calling it Project Morpheus, they're definitely going to rename it. They could pull a Vita and rename it to Playstation Morpheus, but that's a bit of a mouthful. Maybe Playstation Neo. It's something new and fits in with the three-letter naming convention they're liking right now.
Though Vita was originally known as "NGP", right?
It would be a bit stupid to call your handheld the "Next Generation Portable" wouldn't it?

With PS4 supports music from USB, it's possible that it would be a cross-buy game on PS4.

Vita was an internal codename, they switched to NGP for the public reveal while Sony came up with something better, and going by interviews they gave up and went with Vita in the end anyway. Oh cool, I didn't know that. "Morpheus" is a bit weird as a name for the device, but I could see "PlayStation Morpheus" being a thing.

8 is something like... a well known third-party franchise going PS4 exclusive with its next installment. Or something.
Edit - Actually yeah, TLG is 9. 10 should be reserved for the likes of Shenmue III, Half-Life 3 and Final Fantasy VII-Remake.

TLG is definitely not an 8. We've heard enough times that it's in development, they probably changed a lot of things à la Final Fantasy Vers- ehh XV, that's why it's taking so long.
I'd be really disappointed if this earth shattering gigaton thing is TLG. We all know it's coming

It depends on the person. It would be a 10 for me, knowing that when they show a trailer they will definitely show the release date.
There is no point in releasing a trailer for a game announced many years ago, if it doesn't have a solid release date yet. I think that's why they're taking their sweet time with it, they want to announce it when they're 100% sure it's 6 to 12 months away from releasing.
Project Morpheus is Okay for a new prototype.

That was my understanding of it too. He was clearly going to say "PSX", then said something about him being told off for referring to things with internal names, then repeated himself and emphasised "Experience".
Sure, you can speculate about them calling it PSX internally because they're bringing back a million classic PlayStation franchises, but I think the actual wording on the Blogcast wasn't anything suspect other than them wanting to get the proper message out.
That's more than enough to have me sold!

Pretty off-topic, but I think the Vita woud've fared a bit better if they'd simply called it the PSP2. Nobody even knows WTF a Vita is, but if you say, "It's basically a PSP2," they immediately understand.
I can't decide if Vita is better or worse than Wii U though.

Yeah I would say TLG would be a 9, not for the fact we dont know it exists still (We do, its been confirmed many times) but just because its been held off and built up by fans for so long. Duke Nukem Forever, FF Verses 13/FF15 and TLG are the games we KNOW are being made but have spent the most time without getting any updates so it kind of makes them stand out a bit.

And yet there are so many convinced it's dead. That game has been an emotional rollercoaster ride ever since it was unveiled, with anyone anticipating its release put through the wringer and then some these past four years or so. We've gone through so much speculation and so many rumours over it - even to the point where it was both stated to be on hiatus by Jack Tretton and reported as cancelled by IGN, only for them both to be corrected by Yoshida later on - that if it was re-revealed at this upcoming event, the reaction would be colossal.

He's not a good source, knowing him I personally think that he doesn't know anything and he is just shooting in the dark. He was one of the people reporting about the Wii HD being a thing. Unless it's a Ubisoft game, because Gameblog (his website) and Ubisoft share the same building.
