Autosport has the worst piece of shit cockpit view ever. I remember Gran Turismo on PSP, it is similar to that. Just a quick cash-in so that they can make proper nextgen GRID...or so I hope at least.

I know, I remember we talking about this. Try to watch some gameplay with said camera to see how bad it is for you. The game is good and there's plenty of races to invest your time but if that issue is a deal breaker for you I can fully understand, specially when we had so many good games with great details in the cockpit view.

As much as I like that camera, in Autosport I simply can't play it that way, it's just too... bland.

Got the sequel as a gift, played it nonstop for two weeks or so. Hear the first one is the best (still love 2 though). I'll buy 2 for PC when the new version comes out.

Just checked, and nope, Gedosato DOES NOT WORK with Dark Souls 1.

Durante had to do special hacks for DS1 because of its wacky code structure. So for anyone grabbing DS1 today, you want DSFix.

And set the SSAO to heavy, the only way to play.

Second this. I got the game maybe a year ago on sale, but had to put it down because of GFWL shenanigans. Buy it now, but wait until that cancer is cut out before you start it.

Has Durante said anything about fixing DSFix once the Steamworks patch is out? Or did Namco/From say anything about adding proper 1080p support in?

Even then, not having the SSAO, HUD minimizing, and background blur resolution corrections would be painful.

Got it installed and finally played it. On the High preset I get 50-60 FPS during pretty much everything (except for the 30 FPS lock during cutscenes). I saw it drop to 40 once, but I think that was because of a cutscene to gameplay transition. Playing it in 1920x1080.

The game itself is fucking great. It definitely has the run-gun-fun shooting that I crave.

Two problems have cropped up though:

VSync doesn't do it's job
AND
The sound is a bit messed up I feel like

Other than that the game runs fine.

I'd recommend the PS4 version if that's an option, but otherwise you're going to get the better experience on your PC. Just don't bother with PhysX as it'll kill your framerate.

I had to pick this class as I really couldn't find the benefit in block over dodge after trying a few different classes, plus all the others seemed a bit slow. I've heard dark souls is even harder? Perfect, thanks! I managed to get it from the GMG VIP sale just before the price jumped up, so now I feel good about the purchase. Looking forward to it once it finishes downloading!

Also, what is everyone's opinion on Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD? I'm definitely getting Freedom Cry, but Liberation I'm 50/50 on.

How is Endless Legend? I placed it on my wishlist a while back but there are so many games on sale I'm trying to decide which games to skip for now.

If you're at all a lover of strategy games, and 4X games in particular, and you have the time to play this now, then Endless Legend is a great buy at 50% off - I'm confident that you wouldn't regret it at this price.

It's polished, well supported (a very meaty patch/add-on was released a couple of days ago), has that Civ-like just-one-more-turn character to it, but is innovative in several areas as well. The varied faction design and associated quest system is reason enough to play through as each of the eight factions at least once, so there's plenty of value here. The UI and music are terrific as well.

Endless Legend will be somewhere in my GOTY top five, for what that's worth.
