Gematsu: Sony to hold Playstation Experience event in December

I think there is a possibility of Street Fighter V being exclusive for the first version. Then they will release Super Street Fighter V 1yr later (same time frame they did with SF4 and SSF4) and put it out to XB1, PC and PS4.

PlayStation Experience should probably change its name to PlayStation Excitement.
Slogan: Please, be there, be ready, be excited, and be moved.

Bish asked for worthy to stop teasing. What has he done? Teased, on every page. Please man, like I said I don't want you banned but "I know something you don't" isn't fun. Stop.

It won't be an exclusive. From all of the information I've seen over the last year, it doesn't really make any sense. If the game involves SF, it'll most likely be a crossover (which would explain the Ryu in PS videos and Verendus' comments).

At this stage, I expect Shawn Layden to fly out onto the stage in a glorious spectacle of stardust and wondrous applause. Announcing Vib Ribbon 2 with furious hand gestures, he will apologise for Powers at E3, and repent by announcing Shenmue 3 in partnership with Sega.

He will then proceed to take off his face mask, revealing his true identity: Mark Cerny.

Mark will then proceed to slither across the stage with the Crash revival announcement, and close his segment by grinning in a sinister fashion akin to the Grinch whilst removing his mask and revealing another identity: Jim Ryan.

Jim will strut around the stage with the camera panning in and out uncontrollably while announcing Horizon from Guerrilla Games and Media Molecule's 3D world builder. The camera will once again pan in closer, then zip back out while he removes his mask, leading to another identity being revealed: Shinji Hashimoto.

Shinji will begin his announcement, but will be interrupted by Major Nelson invading the stage screaming hysterically ''I BELIEVE IN PHIL SPENCER!!!'' while throwing excavated ET cartridges into the crowd trying desperately to win their approval. Hashimoto will dropkick him off stage while the Sony executes use unwanted Wonderbook accessories to beat him senseless. The screen will just simply flash FINAL FANTASY VII and the audience will descend into manic chaos and begin transcending to another plane of existence.

Shinji will end with ''Please be Excited'' while impersonating Hannibal Lector's speech mannerisms, and remove his last mask, revealing the true identity of the person on stage the whole time. The camera will fade to black, and the voice of a man who sounds like he inhaled too much helium will proudly announce that Sony Computer Entertainment has officially acquired Nintendo, name himself as Andrew House and end conference with Reggie being lowered onto the stage in a cage to be poked with sticks by the 5500 strong audience.

As the crowd starts shaking with euphoria and their muscles being to weaken, massive amounts of African bees will be released from the auditorium ceiling as House laughs manically. As the masses scream in terror, Shuhei Yoshida and Adam Boyes will patiently wait outside with a camera crew to film the crowds reactions as they run through the doors shrieking in terror, using the footage to promote next year's PSX.

So no Last Guardian?

I don't think it's bad that Worthy is teasing.... If it wasn't for the fact that it's his friend's job that is at risk, and not his.

C'mon man, stop that.

next week. Starts Saturday.

It's basically a Playstation Convention and there is speculation that there will be game announcements happening.

there's zero speculation that game announcements are happening. That is a hard, fast, indisputable fact.

The speculation is over what game announcements are happening. A few in the thread are also hyping up specific announcements which are going to be big. At least a few big announcements will be there, without a doubt.

Also a keynote will be taking place on Saturday. I think it is going to be structured as an e3 conference due to 5500 people being there and game footage confirmed for it.

I mean, it has to be Crash Bandicoot at this point.

Worthy made a post with an anagram of bolded letters that spelled "OLD IP"

Then he made another post whose only bolded letter was the letter "B"

Then he made another post saying that this would be a 9 on the hype scale. "Bandicoot" contains 9 letters.

Then he made another post that said GAF would definitely "crash"

Finally, he told me via PM that NeoGAF would "spin" out of control.

It's settled.

OK, I made that last one up.

Wake me when it's about to start

I'm very, very excited but I think I'm just going to keep my expectations low. I can't see any bomb shells happening. I do expect a cool game announcement and some teases for future stuff that's already known though.

Regardless, gonna be a great event! Hope Xbox can do something like this next year.

It's no coincidence the Xbox Japan GM went into forced retirement a week before the event. I'm talking like RE and DMC goes exclusive level stuff. It's got to be.

People think Crash wouldn't crash Gaf lolololol

Crash back at Sony would for real be the biggest single game announcement possible in the industry. Shenmue is impossibly obscure, FF7r would be awesome but not on par, and TLG is known and inevitable.

Please tell me this is sarcasm? It would be huge on Gaf. But the single biggest came announcement in the industry? Lol.

No, it wouldn't. doesn't Activision own the IP anyways?

Why would you even want SFV to be exclusive aside from petty fanboy list wars? These kind of games should be enjoyed by as many people as possible unless they're first party like KI or PS All Stars.

Absolutely nothing. Ya'll need to cool it. People I know are hyped, I'm hyped, but ya'll got folks in here talking about Final Fantasy VII coming back and I'm like O_O

FF7 will probably happen. But it would be multiplatform, and it would get announced at E3. And its not that of a megaton anyway, to me at least.
